Over roughly the past 18 months, the following events have transfixed the nation.
In July 2014, Eric Garner, an African American man reportedly selling loose cigarettes illegally, was choked to death by a New York City policeman.
That August, a white police officer, Darren Wilson, shot and killed an African American teenager, Michael Brown, in Ferguson, Missouri. For close to two weeks, protesters battled police clad in military gear. Missouri's governor said the city looked like a war zone.
In December, an African American man with a criminal record avenged Garner's and Brown's deaths by murdering two New York City police officers. At the officers' funerals, hundreds of police turned their backs on New York's liberal mayor, Bill de Blasio.
In April 2015 another young African American man, Freddie Gray, died in police custody, in Baltimore. In the chaos that followed, 200 businesses were destroyed, 113 police officers were injured, and 486 people were arrested. To avoid further violence, a game between the Baltimore Orioles and the Chicago White Sox was postponed twice, then played in an empty stadium with police sirens audible in the distance.
Then, in July, activists with Black Lives Matter, a movement that had gained national attention after Brown's death, disrupted speeches by two Democratic presidential candidates in Phoenix, Arizona. As former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley fidgeted onstage, protesters chanted, "If I die in police custody, avenge my death! By any means necessary!" and "If I die in police custody, burn everything down!" When O'Malley responded, "Black lives matter, white lives matter, all lives matter," the crowd booed loudly. Later that day, O'Malley apologized.
Donald Trump, who had ascended to first place in the race for the Republican presidential nomination while promising to represent the "silent majority," called O'Malley "a disgusting little weak, pathetic baby."

Louisiana just elected an ultra-liberal governor and Houston another socialist-style mayor. Where are the conservative victories, certainly not in 2014 will all the gop-e triumphs?

Only the 2016 November elections will tell us that. In the meantime, all we can say is that MOST REPUBLICANS are supporting Trump, but that’s all we can gather at this time.

The left IS in control. They are better organized. The left is better led. The left moved years ago to capture political office, our religion, or schools, our media, our economy and now even American business. They are flooding our country with future Democratic voters and will probably swing this election to the Democratic party. We are at a tipping point where it is distinctly possible that no Republican will ever be President. See California.
There’s perception and then there is reality. When reality outshines perception, this country will start to get better.
America is moving Left because:
1) Jobs. People who can’t find a good job get scared. I understand the economics of offshoring everything you can, but when the stock market hits a new high every month or so and wages continue to stagnate against the government-created CPI and fall when compared to cost of groceries, utilities, housing, and clothing, people can see a real Boogeyman and the Progressive promises to kill the Boogeyman (even though they work for him too).
2) Education. Education has been run by Leftists since John Dewey created our “free” public school systems. We don’t encourage people to become teachers as a second career. We insist on getting young adults, fresh out of school with no real-world experience whatsoever and we make them teachers and then act surprised when they don’t understand reality.
3) Media. People believe what they see on TV. The media has pushed the “Christianity and Americanism is bad” meme for so long that people believe it.
As long as we have a fake, unbacked currency, with manipulated interest rates from a central-planning authority - they will do their utmost to support progressive, nanny-state government with money printing and massive debt.
As long as the present monetary system continues, progressivism will reign in the USA.
I think more and more 35 & under are figuring out every day that they have been fed a whole lot of lies for a very long time. If true, the influence of the left will diminish greatly. Up to now the left has been be able to maintain their lies and the alternate reality they have created to grow their cult - it is becoming more obvious every day that they can’t continue the charade. The Trump candidacy is evidence that the lies and created alternate reality has been discovered AND the masses are very, very angry about the deceit. A string of contradictions to their story line has hit us that disprove their deceit. It is past time for open season on leftists for flushing them out of the nooks and crannies of government.
