JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - Jackson City Councilman Kenneth Stokes' comments about violence against police officers from other cities has social media buzzing.
Here's what he said:
"What I suggest, we get the black leadership together, and as these jurisdictions come into Jackson, we throw rocks, bricks and bottles at them. That will send a message we don't want you in here."
A couple of local officials have already expressed their displeasure at Stokes' comments - especially the Madison County Sheriff.
Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker took to Facebook to send his own message to Stokes.

No, just throw rocks and bricks at the moron.
I saw him attached to ropes during the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade!

Even if this punk is removed from office, they’ll just have another BLM racist puke lined up to replace him. A majority of voters in these districts just can’t throw off the shackles of racism, perpetual grievances and slavery of the mind, body and soul. So much damage done by the Democrats in order to keep these people on their plantation. It’s beyond criminal, it’s plain evil.
I saw what you did there...
Lots of parallels between the two groups.
If I went to his house and threw bricks at it, or at him, would he call the cops?
