I think Cruz IS a natural-born US citizen.

I think the SC would find in his favor.

He DOES need to address this NOW though.

IMO, as long as one parent is a US citizen then that suffices.

Especially if that one citizen parent is the mother.

With a father you never know for sure... but no one ever said to a mother “But are you SURE the baby is yours!?” ...lol

But that isn't what the government is telling those who are studying to take the test to become a NATURALIZED CITIZEN. What they are told is that both parents have to be citizens, NBC or Naturalized, at the time of the child's birth.

Of course Obama broke that rule, but there's a damned double standard at work here.

Born of an alien father in an alien country but somehow he’s a natural born citizen because his mother was an American? that’s questionable.

You've stated what "you think". The only problem with that is natural born citizen is, and always has been, a term that should be exactly defined. It should've been done centuries ago. But, after Obama's first term, c'mon. It was really negligent for Republicans not to demand an exact definition. Instead, they let us go down that slippery slope.

Now we've got a situation. The backstabbing sellout disgusting 'pubs did nothing real to get a legal opinion that just might've stopped Obama's second term. Do you really think the dems won't use it against Cruz if they get to frame the debate?

Your concern is duly noted.

***I think Cruz IS a natural-born US citizen.***

Also culturally AMERICAN, not like the current occupant of the WH who is culturally Indonesian moslem.

"He DOES need to address this NOW though."

He did. He showed he is a US Citizen by birth.

For those who believe the meaning of NBC should be litigated, I say go ahead.

I too would like to see a USSC decision on the matter. Until then, as far as I can tell, Cruz is eligible.
