Storm Clouds Form: Bob Woodward Compares Hillary Scandal to Watergate (FBI revolt brewing)
National Review ^ | January 10, 2016 | John Fund

Hillary Clinton's e-mail scandal has been a difficult one for the public to understand and for journalists to explain. But Bob Woodward, the Washington Post reporter who helped uncover Watergate 40 years ago, clarified things a lot on Fox News Sunday today when he said that an e-mail in the most recently released batch shows Hillary trying to "subvert the rules" that she expected others to follow.

A few days earlier, Joe DiGenova, a well-respected former district attorney for the District of Columbia, told The Laura Ingraham Show that "there is vitriol of an intense amount developing" in the intelligence community and that FBI agents "are already in the process of gearing themselves to basically revolt if [the Justice Department] refuses to bring charges" against either Hillary Clinton or her former State Department staffers.

[Snip]

Only 23 percent of independents view her as "honest and trustworthy" in the latest Quinnipiac poll. Other Democrats, including Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren, would be remiss if they weren't preparing a Plan B in case this number dips even lower, making her a more vulnerable general-election candidate.

Really? These 23% are like the 5th dentist that doesn't recommend Trident gum.

How about another meme for Obama saying “If Barack Obama was a Republican, the only question left to answer about his IRS scandal would be how many decades is he going to spend in prison.”

A friend’s nephew is in the Secret Service. He won’t say much when asked but did reply that Obama is loathed by most of the agents.

They’d rather take her down in time to get Bernie or Biden in the race than wait til Trump takes her down.

Horse puckey - it's only difficult, because the "journalists" can't get their tongue out of her rear end long enough to write a decent story...

BIG difference here. The media hated Nixon, they love Hillary.

Describe "revolt."

And also "FBI" as in, where is the evidence that it was ever chartered by Congress?

Nixon's Attorney General John Mitchell went to prison for conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury. Will we ever see a Democrat AG indicted for obstruction for failing to prosecute clearly obvious federal lawbreakers?

No comparison.

Nixon was not putting the nation at risk.

The dumpy bitch would sell out to any one at any time for enough money.

Woodward just has to talk about the good old days, his 15 minutes of fame are over.

So where was the famed team of Woodward and Bernstein early on in this deep investigation? They were right out there front and center when it was a REPUBLICAN President for whom dirt was being mined furiously.

For someone who despised Richard Nixon so very much, Herself is trying very hard to emulate him in as many ways as possible, except that Herself has not brought up anything similar to Nixon’s speech in regards to a gift of a dog before his election to the Vice-Presidency in 1952. “And now they attack my little dog Checkers.”

Herself could not abide the presence of a dog. Buddy, the dog that was resident in the White House from 1997 to 2001, was found killed in the Clinton residence after their departure from the White House. Arkancide? Or a tacit bid for sympathy? For Slick, not for Herself.

Bull shit Bob! This makes Watergate look like a Sunday school picnic by comparison!

The Clinton Foundation is “organized crime” at it’s finest, and we are financing it. Here is a good, concise summary of how the Clinton Foundation works as a tax free international money laundering scheme. It may eventually prove to be the largest political criminal enterprise in U.S. history.

This is a textbook case on how you hide foreign money sent to you and repackage it to be used for your own purposes. All tax free. Here’s how it works:

1. You create a separate foreign “charity.” In this case one in Canada.

2. Foreign oligarchs and governments, then donate to this Canadian charity. In this case, over 1,000 did - contributing mega millions. I’m sure they did this out of the goodness of their hearts, and expected nothing in return. (Imagine Putin’s buddies waking up one morning and just deciding to send untold millions to a Canadian charity).

3. The Canadian charity then bundles these separate donations and makes a massive donation to the Clinton Foundation.

4. The Clinton Foundation and the cooperating Canadian charity claim Canadian law prohibits the identification of individual donors.

5. The Clinton Foundation then “spends” some of this money for legitimate good works programs. Unfortunately, experts believe this is on the order of 10%. Much of the balance goes to enrich the Clinton’s, pay salaries to untold numbers of hangers on, and fund lavish travel, etc. Again, virtually all tax free, which means you and I are subsidizing it.

6. The Clinton Foundation, with access to the world’s best accountants, somehow fails to report much of this on their tax filings. They discover these “clerical errors” and begin the process of re-filing 5 years of tax returns.

7. Net result — foreign money, much of it from other countries, goes into the Clinton’s pockets tax free and untraceable back to the original donor. This is the textbook definition of money laundering.

Oh, by the way, the Canadian “charity” includes as a principal one Frank Giustra. Google him. He is the guy who was central to the formation of Uranium One, the Canadian company that somehow acquired massive U.S. uranium interests and then sold them to an organization controlled by Russia. This transaction required U.S. State Department approval, and guess who was Secretary of State when the approval was granted. As an aside, imagine how former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell feels. That poor schlep is in jail because he and his wife took $165,000 in gifts and loans for doing minor favors for a guy promoting a vitamin company. Not legal but not exactly putting U.S. security risk. Sarcasm aside, if you’re still not persuaded this was a cleverly structured way to get unidentified foreign money to the Clinton’s, ask
yourself this:

Why did these foreign interests funnel money through a Canadian charity? Why not donate directly to the Clinton Foundation? Better yet, why not donate money directly to the people, organizations and countries in need?

This is the essence of money laundering and influence peddling. Now you know why Hillary’s destruction of 30,000 e-mails was a risk she was willing to take.

The only wild card is if said lackey decides to spill their guts and turn state's evidence.

If said lackey spills their guts, said lackey will soon take a dirt nap in Fort Marcy Park.

Emphasis on “or her...staffers.”

They’ll throw a few staffers under the bus to placate the FBI and the Hildebeast will walk.

Guarantee it.

I think this is just a big build up of "pressure and accusation," so as to "punish" Hillary without punishing her. It's a build-up of expectation.

When the pressure is taken off, she can claim she's clean, and a victim of unjustified accusation.

In effect, the accusation is being used as a tool to boost her standing, not to diminish it.

..For now, color me “skeptical.” The Clintons have gotten away with so much for so long, I’m not convinced that DOJ will do a damn thing.

Successful Clinton dodges for all occasions:

I dont recall.
We didnt do anything wrong.
This was fully covered weeks/ months/ years ago
We didnt know we did anything wrong
You can’t prove we did anything wrong
No one has any evidence that we did anything wrong.

I’m going all out and predict that he will give her a full an unconditional pardon for everything related to her time as SOS, because she serves with honor and distinction.

I'm going opposite and predict that the Democratic Party is realizing Hillary can't win POTUS, and will _need_ her indictment (if not prompt conviction) to drag her off the stage so somebody "sensible", if they can _find_ someone, can jump in and at least have a good showing against Trump. She _won't_ leave voluntarily, having devoted her life to becoming POTUS, coming so close, and this being her absolutely last chance. Given the favors she holds and closeted skeletons she knows, she can't be removed without much short of a sociopolitical nuclear weapon - something held by the intelligence agencies and delivered via the FBI.

A POTUS pardon would leave her completely intact, ready to devastate the Democrat Party via her unquenchable narcissism.

Rule of law has been dead in this country for a couple generations, other than the routine transactional, civil and criminal stuff.

The Justice department is owned by the White House and run by Obama. Both Holder and Lynch were, and are, there to do Obama’s bidding.
Lynch will not indict Clinton unless Obama tells her to.
If Woodward was doing his job, he would have been investigating both Clintons and Obama for the last seven years!
