With everything going on, he wants to put troops on the ground and engage in war with a Russian ally, whom they will surely protect?
Nothing that is going on in the Middle East is worth a war with Russia.
What a surprise. Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton are on the same page on yet another issue.
Medved is an employee of The Ministry of Propaganda working for The Cheap Labor Express to try to fool Americans into giving up the rule of law and their country.
I don’t understand the obsession with Assad on the part of the political establishments of both parties. Why should removing a dictator who has never sponsored acts of terror against America or Europe be such a high priority, especially when much of his opposition includes groups that have?
Yes. Scare the hell out of your enemies and end up not going to war. Like something out of Sun Tzu.
Jeb hail mary to Military Industrial Complex/Illuminati....PLEASE support me!
Take out the only one keeping christians safe? Is he evil or just clueless?
Just like his father.
What good?
This jackass. How could anyone not prefer Assad to any alternative over there? If Assad goes, the only possible replacement is jihadi Wahabbist. And for extra fun, to attack Assad, you have to literally have a shooting war with Russia. Someone said Bush is like the door to door salesman who refuses to leave no matter how many times you tell him no.
Trump is the only sane answer. Which I freely admit shows how far we’ve fallen.
God, help us. Thank you for bringing us Trump, because let’s face it, Folks, the system would have pushed this meathead down our throats otherwise.
How did that Libya thing work for us when we took out Kaddafi?
Both the Clinton wing of the Democratic Party and the Bush/McCain wing of the GOP are trying to sell us a ground war in Syria, all fueled by the fantasy that if Assad goes, western-style moderates will replace him. The western-style "moderate opposition" to Assad can probably fit in a couple of phone booths with space to spare, the reality of opposition to Assad is a choice between ISIS and Al Nusra front, an Al Qaueda spinoff. Ironically, of the two, Al Quaeda is the more "moderate." Perhaps that's what Jeb and Hillary have in mind for the region?
Not entirely true, at best, Iranian proxy at worst.
No idea on the obsession, though. Syria must be the target of Soros or the like for geographic significance.
Insanity.
They want to take out a moderate Middle-East ruler while funding radical Islamic “rebels.”
“They” being whoever opens & closes Jeb’s mouth...because whatever he says isn’t his alone.
As a Shia (albeit a strange one - the Alawites are considered heretics even by other Shiites), Iran supports Assad against the Sunni majority, but his government is quite different from Iran's. It's not a theocracy run by Ayatollahs.
No idea on the obsession, though. Syria must be the target of Soros or the like for geographic significance.
It wouldn't surprise me if Syria were a Soros project like Kosovo.
In case anyone was undecided.
Maybe this is all part of Jeb’s grand strategy for the primaries. If he promises to send ground troops to overthrow Assad, Jeb is guaranteed to add Lindsey Graham’s tenth of one percent to his current numbers.
I don’t think Assad has to worry about Jeb becoming president.
Trump is the only sane answer. Which I freely admit shows how far weâve fallen.
I love that line and wholeheartedly agree. A real Hobson’s choice we’ve been posed.
