They can’t, and everyone knows that the law suits will not be won. But they have to be defended against. The strategy was to flood the manufactures with so many lawsuits as to bankrupt them.
That was the reason for the law in the first place. Many of the lawsuits were funded with tax money.
Libs never take responsibility for their screw ups. They always blame someone else.
Someone should ask him if we could sue car manufacturers for drunk drivers killing people with vehicles, or aircraft manufacturers if terrorists use aircraft to kill people.

The family of the stupid botch who stood in front of a dozer and got flattened, sued Caterpillar Inc. for building the D-9. The suit was very quickly tossed out.

This is in same vein, and such lawsuits against firearms manufacturers should similarly be tossed.
