Trump’s donations show Democratic favoritism ($50,000 to Rahm Emmanuel, $10,000 to Dirty Harry)

The real estate mogul and “Celebrity Apprentice” host has made more than $1.3 million in donations over the years to candidates nationwide, with 54 percent of the money going to Democrats, according to a Washington Post analysis of state and federal disclosure records.

Trump said in a recent interview that he had relatively few Republican options in an overwhelmingly blue state.

“Everyone’s Democratic,” he told Fox News in an interview about his potential candidacy. “So what am I going to do — contribute to Republicans? One thing: I’m not stupid. Am I going to contribute to Republicans for my whole life when they get heat when they run against some Democrat and the most they can get is 1 percent of the vote?”

His Democratic generosity is hardly confined to New York, however. Trump has given more than $250,000 to federal candidates and campaigns, including more than $100,000 to the party’s House and Senate campaign committees. He donated $10,400 to Reid, including for his 2010 battle with Sharron Angle, the GOP nominee and tea party favorite.

Very interesting article from 2011. At that time, The Donald had given most of his money to Democrats, but then decided he wanted to run for POTUS.

Since 2011, The Donald miraculously changed to giving most of his campaign donations to Republicans. Anybody with any amount of deduction reasoning can figure out that Trump is a craven opportunist who gave money to Democrats to early on to buy influence for his business interests, and now gives money to Republicans to try to buy the votes of the low information angry Republican voters in his quest to become POTUS.

His whoring out to the ethanol interests in Iowa is another example of the kind of guy he is.

At first I thought his campaign was a humorous diversion, now it is just downright scary the way he is being embraced by those who claim to be 'conservatives'.

I know I’ll get slammed by Trump fans, but I sure hope he really has changed and it was just for business sake. But, plenty of folks who are billionaires don’t have to give to such Dems; of course I can’t think of any billionaires that aren’t liberals. Even Koch Bros’ have shown they are GOPers.

My hope is Palin endorsed with the agreement that Trump had to pick Cruz as VP to gain the endorsement; that would be cool and shrewd.

Changed??? His whole life was basically liberal before he decided to run for president! It’s not too hard to see as you can easily bring up history (articles, news interviews, donation history, etc) to see it. Trump supporters really need to step back and take a good look who Trump was just a few years ago.

No Palin picked Trump because she has a brain and is not into Pyrrhic victories whereby we install a corrupt socialist in the White House for 8 more years. Wining Pyrrhic victories in politics is like losing the Superbowl but howling you had more rushing yards, time of possession and caused more turnovers. Losers talk stats and philosophies, winners win.

Not likely. Look, it’s becoming clear that Trump has no core set of beliefs. He says whatever advances him at that particular moment.

At best he will be a “hold your nose because the
Dem candidate is much worse” vote. I’m getting tired of doing that, quite frankly.

Boortz on WSB subbing for Herman this morning. Giving points on why he thinks Trump is a disaster waiting to happen. Pretty sobering take on a few things.

His giving prior to 2010 was often business related and in NY the Dem politicians control the game.

Political Campaign Contributions by Donald Trump
(1999 to Present) - $898,300
DEMOCRAT: 37.80% REPUBLICAN: 62.20%

Great chart at link of Trump’s early political donations (1999-2014 ) which rather debunks the prevailing meme.

A man who is willing to buy influence will have no qualms about selling it. Anyone who contributes to both sides is trying to buy influence. It is the way CRONY CAPITALISM works. You grease palms, you get favors.

Donald Trump is the King of Crony Capitalism. That is why Palin’s endorsement of him is so disconcerting.

Donald Trump is using her. Just like he is using everyone who thinks he has a conservative bone in his body.

She will be discarded long before the general election because she will be of no use to him anymore.

See tagline.

I listened to Boortz back when he was on WRNG radio and an overt racist IMO all the way through his WGST 640 days and hating on the WSB Blue Hairs he came to love (all of a sudden when he got that WSB 750 gig).

He’s an effing opportunist and an asswipe. He used to diss his alcoholic Marine father and his mother, but after 9/11 he’s all patriotic and has nothing to say bad about them. NEVER in the military and once claimed he didn’t join because he wore glasses and couldn’t be a pilot....I don’t remember ever getting that same luxury of choice when I was 1A and his age.

Never graduated from the college he attended. A sleazebag lawyer who couldn’t even satisfy his biggest client Evander Holyfield, my recollection.

Divorced and is a rabid pro abortionist and all round hater, IMO.

There’s a reason why this putz doesn’t sub host for Rush. Rush got his number a long time ago.

There is NOTHING Boortz has to say that’s worth a crap IMO.

And does he have a history consistent enough for us to trust him to appoint constitutional SC justices?

Why is it hate to keep the spotlight on Trump's liberal loyalties? Is it also hate to tell your friends to avoid internet scams? Why not political scams?
