The electoral college would be fractured anyway with Bloomberg on the ballot. The house of representatives would then get to choose, so why not give them a better choice?

A. a Socialist B. a Bombastic Populist C. a Conservative D. a Squishy RINO

When in doubt - pick C.

That would blow the door WIDE open for Sanders/Warren to be elected on the promise to forgive everyone’s student loan.

Cruz should be required to sign a pledge.

It all comes down to the Texas “sore loser” law.
If he can’t get on the Texas ballot as an indy, he has zero chance to win in Nov.
It’s probably as big a legal mess as the Canadian citizenship.

I don’t see any way a Republican or conservative win with a splintered ticket. If Trump wins, it’s up to Cruz and other conservatives to advance as much as their agenda under his watch as possible. There is room for several big wins. None bigger than dumping the RNC team of losers.

Are you actually serious with that suggestion?

Good morning. Not being critical of you, but what state’s electoral votes do you see Bloomberg receiving? I’m not sure he would be anything other than a saboteur for the existing candidates. Is that what you see?

I thought a number of states have “Sore-Loser” laws..meaning, if you run in a party primary and lose, you can’t run as an independent in the general election..I may be wrong..

The only person who should run as an Independent is Bloomberg

Bloomberg’s not going to have a plurality in any states. He represents entitled pro-Wall Street billionaires who think everyone else should live by strict gun control, while he has, I’d assume, armed security.

Cruz should announce his own Independent run within the same hour that Bloomberg announces.

Yes, because Ted Cruz needs even more Americans to hate him.

While I prefer Cruz over Trump I would not want to see this happen. It would insure a win for Sanders or Hillary. If Trump gets the republican nod I will vote for him. (He’s my second choice anyway. I don’t really trust him but I’d rather take a chance on him than see any of the RINOs get it)

If any politician actively ran on this platform they would blow away the field. It would be the most popular thing. I'm surprised Trump or Cruz isn't all over this already because it's liberal institutions in bed with big government and big banks on this.

Wow, that is a poor idea. I would much rather have a Trump than a Sanders. Can you imagine who Sanders would put on the Supreme Court?

An independent run takes money. A person would have a very hard time coming up with the funds to do that.

Bloomberg will pick up 0.0 Electoral College seats. States are “winner take all”. I don’t think Bloomberg can beat Hillary in New York.

Maybe run that idea by with Glenn Beck. He might agree with you.

Should he? - no, he shouldn't and I don't think he will. Being a principled man he will likely support the GOP nominee. And he is likely to be gracious about it.

I would hope the other candidates would do the same.
