"And if Cruz said yes I’ll meet you in Toronto...would Trump pick the gauntlet up?"

The venue alone would be a major win for Trump and there's no way Cruz would agree.

That’s not “dishonest” .. as you put it.

They all do it all the time .. it’s the way the Senate operates.

If you don’t like it .. then tell your Senator .. and I guess that would be Rubio. But, believe me .. Rubio does the same thing. It’s one of the reasons Rubio didn’t like the Senate.

This is why I said, I wished people would find this stuff out so the media could not drag people around saying Cruz didn’t vote for this or that .. when in effect he voted the correct way .. if people actually read the legislation; they wouldn’t have voted for it either.

But, while I may not like the games they play .. I don’t see anybody on the Rubio team making any statements about changing how the Senate does business. Your whole statement says that Cruz is somehow BAD because he doesn’t want to vote for the very left leaning agenda.

FR not respecting the huge Tony Perkins endorsement of Cruz, they dont want it on the front page, not given the same respect that the Falwell for Trump was given.

Rubio is not my senator nor anyone I like. Sad it is ok with you that Cruz plays the game. It is dishonest regardless. He played the same game with H1B visa. We have waited for someone to act with integrity since Reagan. Duped again.

Okay .. now I got it .. you’re one of those who are determined to label Cruz the person who changed or destroyed the H1B Visa program.

You’re talking to the wrong person. I used to prepare the H1B Visa’s as Administrative Assistant to the President of the company where I worked.

The H-1B visa is for the purpose of an established company in America .. bringing onboard a highly skilled engineer (or the like) to supplement the staff at the American company. Most likely, the companies were related.

H1B Visas are not for migrant workers, who do not have advanced skills. Now, somebody may be trying to fiddle with that .. but the original H1B had ONE specific goal .. to bring exceptionally skilled people into a company for a short period of time to help a company grow.

And .. I’m done with the conversation.

So, that’s Donald’s excuse for ducking the debate? The foundation is a great charity, but he could hold an affair for them before or after the debate. Trump’s excuse makes him sound like a baby.

I submit that you weren't paying attention. The transcripts are out there for your review.

I heard a few... but, they've all become pretty repetitive at this point. If Iowans don't know who they're voting for by now? They are the ones who haven't been paying attention.

You are being a jerk. I have no interest in the visa program. I simply want honesty. I highly doubt your mind reading abilities.

Repeated for emphasis in bold.

And .. FNC had stacked the deck with a couple of Muslims who were going to participate in interviewing the candidates.

When Trump found out what they planned to do, he decided it was a trap and he was not going to participate.

If that were the case, he should have made that the issue instead of Twitter-polling his tweeps about whether or not he should attend and dropping teasers on air that he may not attend.

I could support that principled stand 100%. This Megyn-Kelly-is-an-unfair-bimbo routine is undignified. I don't like it.

Well, I found out it was not “Muslims” per se .. but it’s almost worse what Megyn (with the help of the RNC) had planned to do.

Google “Noon” and her name will come up. She called Trump a Nazi and is a radical.

She was invited by Google and okd by the RNC.

They also have a woman Mexican and a Feminist all ready to attack him.

This is the ambush Megyn Kelly had planned for Trump.

Evidently, somebody tipped off Trump – and that’s why he hinted about not showing up.

When nothing happened, that’s when Trump knew he had caught them .. so he said he wasn’t going to attend.

What upsets me .. nobody in the MEDIA is talking about this ambush.

Correct. I had two H1B visa engineers working for me. Brilliant, hard working kids who very much wanted to become citizens. One has made it. The other is still waiting.

The will be tax PAYERS!

From what I saw and heard, Trump was merely threatening to not show up as he was "asking" that Kelly be replaced. He didn't officially withdraw until after Fox News issued that goofy statement about Putin. That was really a dumb, very unprofessional public statement for a serious news agency. I don't blame Trump for responding to it as he did. Fox needs HIM a LOT more than he needs Fox.

Don't be shocked if: Fox apologizes for that press release, and Donald shows up.... With or without Megan.

“Trump isn’t the first top-tier presidential candidate to skip a debate. Ronald Reagan did not attend a Republican debate ahead of the 1980 Iowa caucuses. Reagan went on to the win the nomination and the presidency.” www.bloomberg.com

I don’t understand the logic behind the Fox News statement. It was stupid. They could’ve made their point another way.

Maybe it was a knee-jerk reaction to Lewandowski’s thug-like threats toward Megyn Kelly. Maybe not. I’d like to understand the background, but I doubt that’ll be revealed.

I suspect that BOR is using his friendship with Trump to damage Kelly by being the devil whispering in Trump’s ear. BOR is just that petty and has that big of an ego.

I can believe it. I never watch Fox News... Occasionally, I’ll watch BOR’s intro on the late repeat, it puts me to sleep quickly. He’s a dweeb.

What a mess...

True, and just yesterday it was revealed Reagan skipped the last debate before Iowa too.

Maybe I was being too alarmist regarding how this might hurt Trump. I don’t think it will hurt him as much as I thought. He’s dominating yet another news cycle.
