In other news:
Meet Chad C. Sweet, Ted Cruz’s campaign chairman, former DoD/CIA/Goldman Sachs/Homeland Security.
Sweet co-founded the Chertoff Group with former Bush and Obama administration Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff.
As a leader of the Chertoff Group, Sweet “advocated for expanding NSA metadata collection.”

Meet Ted’s ex-CIA PR guy, Dan P. Gabriel. Gabriel is involved in SIGINT aka interception - which is turned into propaganda. His twitter handle is @danpgabriel and he was one of the people pushing the angle that it was confirmed to the Cruz campaign that Carson was dropping out. After called out on the lie, the agent deleted the tweet and denies everything in typical spook fashion:
Ted Cruz PR CONFIRMED government agent! Actively working for Soros & US Army! Rabbit hole time...
So according to trump. Cruz was really dishonest about Carson because he was born in Canada? What a fruit loop.
What did Ted Cruz apologize for then?
Trump’s pushing the narrative because he’s a narcissist who can’t believe that anyone would not vote for him. After all, he’s a billionaire, he was leading the polls, and he gets what he wants.
Yep, sounds like Teddy cheated alright. Between the voter violation mailings and the bogus Carson rumor. Ted was up in the Iowa polls most of January plus his “new york values” line, Cruz should have won by 20 points. Instead, he looks like a nasty cheater and barely squeaked out a win. For all that effort he gets 1 more delegate than Trump. But that is ok. Let Cruz have his one win for the primaries. It is all downhill from here on out. Good riddance!
I just checked the timeline and the carson statement was made almost 2 hours after the rumor spread by cnn. You know how slow carson is.
Cruz is hiring people to do underhanded things, skirting the truth, creating plausible deniability.
I liked Cruz at first. Now, he is beginning to look Nixonian and a bit of a schemer.
To me, this goes against his claim to be a “principled conservative.”
Trump has six days to turn his campaign around or he may as well pack it in.
But to spend one day of it bitching isn’t going to help him. If he’s got a
problem with legal recourse then get on with the case. Otherwiese, he needs
to remember that NH votes in six days and I doubt they care that much about
how Iowa ran their caucuses.
Dirty Ted.
Just another typical politician.
Trump is undoing all the good he accomplished during his concession speech with all these remarks.
Carson had a lot of evangelical support. Cruz’s sudden “conversion” over the weekend, and the rumor planting that Carson was dropping out could easily have swung 1%-2% to Cruz. Trump has a point, but it’s best to lick his wounds and focus forward.
False narrative. He may not have won by Cheating, but he did Cheat.
You know other irony is Rubio’s campaign did the same thing but they are exempted by all the media. I’m voting for the guy the cartel really doesn’t want - and there is only one.
1. Carson outperformed his polls by 2 points!
2. Why does Trump assume all of Carsons support would have gone to Cruz?
The only thing I can think of is that position to position Trump can not win the base or he is what I though in the beginning Clinton's Perot of this election who figured out he might just be able to pull off a win.
I think at this point he is going to destroy his chances and Cruz's chances with this absolute polarization and give this thing to Rino Rubio. I am thoroughly disgusted. We are all going to lose big time in the end because of this stupid crap. I am getting to the point I can not stand him or his supporters and I needed to be able to vote for him without Cruz.
Well look who is back from suspension to Spam some more. The Cruz team got caught lying deal with it.
A couple hours before a primary election, you don’t tell voters that another person running in the election is going to drop out after the election, so vote for me instead.
You wait until after that person is out of the race to go after their voters. That is the honorable thing to do. To do so at the time of the election essentially is, in fact, a sleazy move.
I don’t expect that any Cruz supporter will see it that way, and that’s to be expected in a primary. Trump supporters aren’t looking to see their candidate in a bad light either.
But is Ted Cruz a sleazy politician? Yes. Clearly he is. He is most certainly not what he is passing himself off to be.
If this line of attack going to help Trump? No. Does it make him appear like a sore loser? Yes. Advice to Trump, if you want to defeat Cruz, then you are going to have to tell people exactly why you are a better choice. You are going to have to sell yourself, otherwise, you will lose.
There you go, honest assessments of them both.
Cruz didn’t ‘win’ anything. He spent 7 bucks for every 3 Trump spent, and only edged Trump 8-7 in delegates. By contrast, my state of Arizona will hand it’s winner 56 delegates. Trump leads here by 23%.
