Of course it hurt him, it was a calculated move, thinking he was bigger than FOX. Cruz’s Iowa caucus move against Carson, also calculated, possibly hurting him where he is strongest ,strength of character, to be determined in later primaries.

Re:”Will his supporters here pointing out the sheer genius of the decision follow his lead?”

Of course they will.
They praised his genius last week after he made the move he claimed was so brilliant.

RE:”So picking fights with woman and then running away is heroic? Trump fanboys are funny breed.”

He picked a fight with Kelly and she kicked his arrogant a$$. Even Mark Levin called out Trump's use of the word Bimbo as sleazy and unpresidential.

The others got~ 12.5m viewers watching there debate.

That says more about how self-important Iowans are than it does about Trump.

Do you have any idea just how that comment makes you sound? Who will be next to be unworthy of The Donald? NH? Perhaps SC?

Yes, there are two types of people in the world: 1) People who know the world revolves around Trump and 2) People who are wrong.

Trump did really well in Iowa....he didn’t spend 2 years there like Ted did when he should have been doing his senate job we were paying him for.

Also...the caucus were strictly dems or repubs...no crossovers, no independents....which Trump will get plenty of. Cruz is never going to get them. Cruz is only going to get those who are happy to be fooled by his phony churchiness.

Trump....right on trade, right on immigration, right on the 2nd amendment, right on GOP corruption.....and without those NONE of the rest of it matters. And the best thing..he is NOT a lawyer.

Voting to vote for someone else, because they got more time to be heard, than the guy who was having a hissy fit? Yea. With Trump gone, it was a far, far better debate.

Reagan and Bush both skipped debates. Bush skipped two of them...NO ONE CARED.

Some of the debates in 2008 had already happened when Fred Thompson finally got in.

Skipping the Fox debate may have cost him in Iowa.
Cruz shenanigans may have cost him in Iowa.
Lots of things may have cost him Iowa.

Question is what sort of BS is FOX going to throw at him now. Just recycle the same alternate Trump program, or cobble together a whole new set of gotcha.

Exactly! We demand a candidate stand up and tell the media that they will NOT dictate our elections and then piss and moan when Trump finally does it!

I can only shake my head regarding people trying to spin this as Trump not wanting to debate.

They had at least two people lined up to unfairly trash Trump.

I’ve never seen that before.

So now folks try to spin it that he was afraid to debate, when he had already participated in six debates and didn’t do poorly in them.

If FoxNews had tried to pull this routine on Ted Cruz, I would have objected. It’s not what the debate is all about.

It was about FoxNews doubling down trying to destroy Trump.

That is not “Fair and Balanced” by any stretch of the imagination.

Trump did exactly the right thing. He refused to play along with the FoxNews setup.

Isn’t that the truth.

It’s why it’s more and more apparent that we don’t have supporters here. We have propagandists here.

In this photo taken Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, a sculpture by Chinese artist Chen Wenling entitled "What You See Might Not Be Real" is on display at a gallery in Beijing, China. The artwork is a critique of the global financial crisis with the bull representing the golden bull of wall street and the man pinned to the wall representing the jailed financier Bernard Madoff. I've NEVER been more proud to be a Trump supporter than when I gave my small contribution to the cause of raising over $6 million for Veterans in less than 24 hours.

It was a wonderful thing to do, but why couldn't he done it on a different night and still attended the debate?

The point is that Trump didn't attend the rally when he felt he was being treated unfairly. So, instead of doing nothing, he spent that time raising money for Veterans. Maybe the question should be why were Huckabee and Santorum the only two other candidates who expressed support what he did for Veterans?

Actually, his not showing up for one debate is a good thing. It gave the others a chance to strut their stuff!

Trump is not getting enough credit for what he accomplished. He showed us how a successful person accomplishes what they set out to do.
