As much as I love Cruz as a conservative, there really is a voter rebellion underway and it may be unstoppable. Despite all the denials, the simple truth is the voters really are fed-up and really are up in arms against the establishment.
Trump's message is exactly what the voters are looking for:
Build the wall, enforce the law, deport them all, slap a moratorium on Muslim immigration, bomb the hell out of ISIS, cut the taxes, cut the spending, cut the regulations, cut the government, cut the bad trade deals, cut the political correctness crap, bring back capital, bring back manufacturing, bring back jobs, get the economy back on track, rebuild the military so no one messes with us and make America great again!
It's a winning message.
The rallies are real.
The pent up anger is real.
The rebellion is real!
GOPe RINOs Bush, Rubio, Kasich, et al, stand no chance whatsoever.
We still have hope for conservative Cruz to pull it out, but this is Trump's Rebellion to lose.
Go, Cruz, GO!!
Go, Trump, GO!!
Either way, we win, they lose.
Yours is the only negative opinion about it - congratulations!

You may have to vote Trump in the primary to hold off JEBBIE , there is NO WAY these SOB’s are going to give up their precious JEBBIE!!!!

“HOW is he going to build the wall?”
Well, Trump is a builder, but I would think that it goes something like this:
1. Sends over and gets blueprints for a section of the Israeli wall for comparison purposes.
2. Authorizes, through his own contacts, engineers to draw up plans.
3. Sends out survey parties
4. Authorizes panel of experts to draw up logistics
5. Open bids for a contract
6. Selects a builder
7. Authorizes them to begin construction
8. Americans on the border will greet builders with milk and cookies.
You think you can right this ship with one election???? REALLY!!! immigration is the YUGE start we NEED!!! Trump may NOT be perfect but he is PERFECT PAYBACK!!! Our border WILL be closed and for now that is enough for me and MANY others!!!!

And he spending his own money.
But at least Jeb doesn't pretend to be a conservative. And no one would delude themselves into believing Jeb to be a conservative.
And in 4 years, the conservative movement could try again.
If it's Donald, the conservative brand will become tarnished and discredited for more than a generation.

By way of analogy, Trump could be a modern- day "Cincinnatus."

Yup, he is a media creation. Pure and simple.
And the media hates conservatism so they push Trump knowing he is about as conservative as Hillary and Schumer.
Cruz is a peacemaker. Trump is a warlord.
The opposition spent years and millions making Cruz look like a radical. Now they’ve lost the peacemaker and they get the warlord.

A president can send troops into battle without Congressional permission. It is not a stretch for him to authorize the building of a wall.
All he has to do is declare some kind of state of emergency, or in other words, correctly state the problem. The bill authorizing erection of a wall was passed about ten years ago.
