Well, I see and I DO get it! At least from my personal perspective. Just because I don’t see things the way you do, doesn’t make you any more right than in your own eyes. The return comment could be “ you don’t see that Cruz ( and Rubio) are ineleigible to be president. I believe that they aren’t but my reasoning may be no better than yours. The real issue is to whom do most of the votes belong, and that is not something that’s a subject of speculation, it’s a fact, they belong to Trump. I know you don’t like that, but it’s a fact!

Electoral College votes will be split among the four contenders. Nobody gets a majority. So the election is thrown into the House of Reps, where each state gets exactly one vote. Wyoming gets the same one vote as does California. And since the ‘Pubs control a majority of state delegations, they will coalesce around a compromise candidate — probably Paul Ryan — and give him the winning vote.
In the meantime, the VPOTUS election will be held in the U.S. Senate, where ‘Pubs probably will have lost their majority in the Nov. 2016 elections. So the Dhims will be able to pick their dream candidate, Indian Princess Liz Warren, as VPOTUS.
Cruz can more that handle anything Trump has. On the debate stage or in any court room.
So Trump is using the threat of a lawsuit to pressure somebody over an unrelated matter. Do we want the kind of a person who will abuse the legal process this way to be in control of the Justice Department?

Cruz used to say he’d like to eventually win Trump supporters over to his cause. He and his biggest fans have certainly given up on that idea.
