Question #1 in any confirmation discussions should be the nominees legal position on unauthorized distribution of classified information. Make every supreme court nomination discussion become a nail in Hillary Pollard’s coffin and an indictment of Obama’s complicity.

Ayotte - GONE
Kirk - GONE
Toomey - GONE
Rubio - replaced by a Democrat

That’s 50-50, and that’s the best case scenario.

Worse. 49-51 is the best-case scenario, because Johnson is gone in WI as well.

I appreciate what you’re saying, but quite frankly it’s not that relevant.

Not that it’s unimportant. It is important. But from a practical standpoint we’re talking secure lifetime appointments here. A nominee can lie through his or her teeth, before the Senate and under oath, and there’s zero chance of them being impeached and removed.

The only possibilty that could be looked for is that sworn testimony would coincide directly with an indictment recommendation from the FBI, prior to a confirmation vote. The timing on that would be shear luck, and would also trigger the appointment of an independent Special Prosecutor that would drag any indictment out past the election.

Leahy is sooo concerned about Republicans.

Of *course* he is. Just like Nancy Pelosi. In fact, this comment uses the same format that Nancy favors: GOP Will Lose Control of ___________, Because of ___________________."

Yawn.

The Republicans had better start playing Video of Schumer who didn’t want Bush Nominating anyone while he had 18 Months left in his First Term.

The Republicans had better show the Legislation the Democrats pushed when Ike was in Office to make it impossible for a sitting President to Nominate someone during their last year of Office.

The Republicans should play Obama’s position on the subject when he as just a lowly Senator when Bush was President. He had a different “tone” then.

They won’t d any of the above, but it doesn’t matter anyway. Obama’s Nominee will be seated by October.

None other than Dingy Harry Reid has called for Alan Grayson to drop out of The race for Rubes’ Senate seat.

It would be awesome if someone could post Leahy’s speech from the Senate floor when he was drunk a few years ago.

There's a cast of thousands running on the Republican side. On the Democrat side there are a couple in addition to Grayson. I don't see him dropping out, but if he does then the Democrats can circle behind a relative unknown. Then it'll depend on who wins the GOP free-for-all. I'm still not willing to write this one off but I'm not willing to call this a safe seat either.

Every Dem gunowner will vote GOP if this is framed correctly.

What gives you the idea that the GOP is capable of framing an issue correctly?

I'm more concerned that their pledge to block any Obama appointment to the Supreme Court is just an empty bluff, like every other broken promise to fight Obama's initiatives made by the GOP Senate.

I guess we'll find out during the next few weeks.

I despise Ayotte, but she polls ahead of the NH governor on almost every poll. it’s 50/50 IMO on who wins up there.

If they don’t block El-Duce’s II nominee they will for sure lose the senate, they may anyway having been as useful as tits on a boar so far in their tenure opposing the little dictator.

Term limits should have been demanded years ago. You get a guy with 41 years and he has been on the grease so long there is nothing honest left IMHO.

Sure, hold hearings and ask him what crimes he believes Obama, Holder, Clinton,-— have committed and why.
