As soon as he wins enough delegates within his own party. Until then, that is merely the opinion of a small percentage of voters.

If Ted can’t beat Trump, that theory is moot.

Trump met with Cruz because he wanted Cruz for his VP.

When Cruz told Trump that he was running for President, Trump came unglued.

Trump had courted him for months trying to get Cruz to fall into the VP slot. You all remember when they seemed to be the best of buds?

When Trump realized that Ted was serious it was then when Trump turned on Cruz and called him 'sort of a maniac' and then it ballooned into Cruz being 'nasty' and 'the worst liar I have ever dealt with.'

All because Cruz said no to The Donald.

Right now, Trump is courting all of us for our vote. He is smooth-talking us with political foreplay. He is stroking our patriotism and reminding us that he is the only who can make us feel good again. And who wouldn't want a rich suitor promising us a life of greatness?

And that is the honest truth.

Ignore it at your peril.

I agree. Trump has shown that he is unprincipled, from his private life to his business dealings. He would be autocratic if elected, but he would lose to the corrupt Hillary.

He would beat Hillary in a landslide.

And since the President is up against a completely sold out RINO Congress, being an autocrat should just about balance it out, just as the Founder's intended.

Your being such an astute follower of the Supreme Court, I am sure you can explain just how “he’d seek a ruling from the Supreme Court now”.

Anybody but Cruz. Everyone on the 5000 person cruise I am on now agrees that trump is great and Cruz is a liar. Can’t argue with 5000 people from all over the country.

I would think he could petition the Court for a ruling on his eligibility given its national import.

Didn’t mean to step on your obvious eminence.

That is your perception I suppose, but just about everyone who works with him and actually knows him admires him and likes him including Sarah Palin. Who was it she chose to endorse in this race?

Petition the Court? I could be way wrong, but I’m thinking the only cases that get to the SCOTUS are appealed from lower Courts, which have the results of a suit in contest.

What is Petition the Court?

Its your foot in mouth, I trying to give you a saving grace.

As Bush v Gore was appealed from a lower court?

Since you asked, “Petitioning” is “a formal written request or ‘prayer’ for a certain thing to be done.” —Barron’s Law Dictionary

X-spurt. Okay.

Bush vs Gore? Appealed from Florida Supreme Court.

No, no, I too could look up “petition”. The question was “how would one petition the SCOTUS”, which was your original contention. There may be a way, would love to hear it.

Can't argue with 5000 people from all over the country.

You must have had a lousy cruise if you interviewed 5000 people about their political stance.

I wouldn't want to argue with them. I choose to ignore them and stand on my principles.

So you think the founders intended to have au autocrat as President rather than three co-equal branches of a weak federal government? I don't think so.

I said I don't think the Founders believed we could avoid an autocrat, and that's why they separated the government into three equal branches. And that that is especially true now, with a RINO-stuffed Congress. Reading comprehension is a good thing. Work on it.

You said nothing in your original post about three co-equal branches of government- I brought it up in my answer.

Honesty- work on it.

Yeah you're right, I just spoke about the Founder's intention for the role of the President. Which means, like everyone who doesn't spell everything out for you, I lied. Sorry I triggered you, snowflake. Go have a cookie in your safe space.
