These guys, Puffington Host, and the NYT have claimed
"Close to 20 percent of voters supporting Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump don't think Abraham Lincoln's decision to free enslaved Africans during the Civil War was the right thing to do, according to a recent Economist/YouGov poll."
I searched the actual poll (https://d25d2506sfb94s.cloudfront.net/cumulus_uploads/document/ctucuikdsj/econToplines.pdf), and I cannot find that statistic ANYWHERE about Trump supporters specifically!!!! Its one thing to spin, like Trump and illegal immigrants, but its another for the media to pull stuff out of their arses! And they wonder why no one trusts them.
True patriots need to start debunking this lie now, on Facebook, Twitter, the comments sections of websites, because this is pure evil on the part of the media, whether you're a Trump supporter or not. If Rubio gets the nod, whats to stop the media from peddling outright falsehoods about him (not that he will get the nod)
People don’t take well to being called ignorant, stupid or cult followers for supporting a candidate that gives them hope. It just increases their resolve and anger. That is what you see happening with the American public.
Maybe the 20% had a public school education and did not understand what was being asked?

Not only did the poll not specify Trump supporters but the percentage listed in the story is wrong. Disapprove somewhat was 8 percent and strongly disapprove was five percent. That only adds up to 13 percent. Not only does the government media complex fail at math, but they fail in the basic comprehension in anything. How did they get Trump supporters out of the survey? Heck it could have been Kasich supporters for all we know. Could have been dingbats, or some folks just answer no to anything. Maybe half of those that answered the question thought Obama freed the slaves or something I don’t know, but the headline and story is worse than dishonest.
You know...I hope Trump tells the concern-trolls that he will not only not release his taxes, he ain’t releasing anything to anyone....Until the presstitutes release theirs...If Murdoch releases his taxes, then Trump releases his, or something like that...
40 percent of the respondents were democrats...29 percent said they were evangelical, with 38 percent of the respondents saying religion was very important in their lives, yet 25 percent, (the highest) said they seldom went to church. This poll is full of contradictions.

Apparently no one on Republican or conservative leasdership believe its important enough to counter. Yet we (consrvatives) wake up one day wondering how the hell can people (socialist/democrats) think in the manner they do? Why do they think we (Republicans/ conservatives) are more dangerous as terroist than ISIS. ?
Professors and teachers across the country hold up these polls backed up by conversation on social media. They become the narrative. We lose our country!

The Emancipation Proclamation didn’t free a single slave during the Civil War, it was pure political theater.
Yeah, bring back the good ole days when a negro was considered half a man and females were not allowed to vote and neither was allowed to own land.
Did they report that Democrats opposed civil rights legislation and it took Republicans to pass it? Did they report that Democrats created the New Deal and Great Society that trapped Blacks in poverty and slums for decades?

I’m a religious person. I’m 73 and haven’t attended church for 60 years. A person doesn’t have to go listen to someone give a sermon to be religious.

Refreshing to have a candidate so clean that anyone who wants to score points has to make crap up and twist facts.
