Of course you start out negotiations EVEN HANDED. But once Trump gets a taste of how the other side negotiates and how they have held up in prior agreements, that’s pretty much the end of things.

He never said he was neutral on the conflict - he said he didn't believe that peace between them was attainable and wouldn't waste his time trying to broker something that ain't gonna happen.

Trump has said before he’s 100% for Israel but if he tries to broker a peace deal, he would conduct negotiations from a neutral position.

It's a good thing the Palestinians don't read American newspapers, otherwise they might find out that Trump's speaking out of both sides of his mouth.

Then again, that doesn't bother Trump's supporters, so maybe the Palestinians won't mind either.
