So sad. Prayers for the family.
She will soon be in the arms of Jesus. I don’t know why this upsets me.
People grieve in their own way. My family culture is very different. No way would I be posting every little tear and blue moment from myself and my children at a time like this. I am not there, so I can’t say what the right thing is.
Prayers for her suffering to be eased.
My mother died from cancer that metasticized into a brain tumor. She was more or less comatose for 2 wks before she finally passed, her body shutting down. I too would never have thought about posting the ordeal anywhere. It was hard enough communicating what was happening to family that doesn’t live here. It was traumatic to me. Wish she had gone quicker.
Sorry...I don’t know who this is but having watched my wife struggle with cancer for a year before losing her a year and a half ago I can sympathize.
I’ll third this. 12 years ago, I lost my wife to breast cancer in a very similar fashion to what this Peek lady is going through. I cannot begin to comprehend making a social media event out of it. I just don’t understand it.
Prayers for healing for all families that are torn apart by this terrible disease.

She has been at death’s door for a long time, but she got to celebrate Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s, and her daughter’s second birthday - much more than anyone ever expected. I’m not surprised by this news but feel sorrow for her husband and child.
Their life has been in front of the media ever since they won the country version of American Idol. They were a beautiful couple that captured the hearts of everyone. I feel they consider the country music fans part of their extended family and know how much we care and pray for them to have the strength to deal with this terrible disease. Joey’s husband is most probably glad to receive the support of his fans.
Her family will be deprived of the joy of her presence.
That’s always upsetting.

Prayers for a very nice couple, a mother and a dad, with a dear little girl with Downs Syndrome. Very sad.
Such a sad and beautiful story. May God bless these good people and give them comfort and peace.
My dad, at the end of the Alzheimers trail, is lying in his bed dying. Could be hours, days, weeks, or longer. I don’t want to watch the video, but prayers up. I take it this is a young person. We are comforted by the fact that Dad lived an extraordinary, good, long life.
Prayers for your Dad and your family at this time.
I think it starts with them thinking they can “help” the cause. It seems like a trendy thing to do. I know there is a stage of denial when a person thinks this cannot happen to “them.”
At some point that tide changes, but you are already too far down the rabbit hole.
I cannot imagine sharing anything but the diagnosis, thanking my fans, and disappearing.
