Those two mandarins weren't alone in dismissing Trump's chances. Washington Post blogger Chris Cillizza wrote in July that "Donald Trump is not going to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2016." And numbers guru Nate Silver told readers as recently as November to "stop freaking out" about Trump's poll numbers...
Now all these journalists, and more, are coming to grips with their mistaken assessments. And some, too, are freaking out..

These godless "reporters" never noticed the ugliness of their man, Barry Hussein Barack Soetoro Obama.
They never felt the need to decry the "ugliness" of when Obama mocked Chrisitans and lectured them at 3 National Prayer Breakfasts, stirred up racial hatred, insulted Israel, trashed our allies, made racist remarks against whites, lied repeatedly, dropped the charges against Black Panthers who intimidated voters, decimated our military, made a mockery of the Constitution, acted with lawlessness, weaponized the IRS against innocent Americans, and destroyed our borders.
What’s funny is other than Wallace, they’re all still in denial. From “it’ll never happen” to “he’s just a reality tv star” and “Americans are stupid.” These guys are going to have a loooong eight years.

5. I find myself going to the W.P., the N.Y.T.s and many other Leftist places now to post 25 negative articles about him each day
6. I often post my articles, and then repost other people’s negative articles
7. I’m spending 19 hours a day now posting ever scrap about Trump I can find
8. My guy was out weeks ago, but I’m still anti-Trump. I’ll do this for months more
9. Well, my guy got crushed today. There’s no way in hell, but I will destroy Trump
10. Trump now has the states and delegates to win the nomination. I’m not stopping. I hate Trump.

15. Months have gone by. Trump has done a lot of good, but I hate him more every day. I still find negative articles and I post them.
16. Four years in and Trump did a surprisingly large number of things he said he would. I haven’t posted one favorable article, but there were many.
17. Trump won his second term. The nation can’t survive, even thought it is a lot better than when he took over. I only have 17 negative articles today. Ten were from the WP and four from the NYTs.
18. Eight years went quick. Trump did an amazing job in his eight years. I’m down to only 13 negative articles about him each day.
19. It has been a year since Trump left office. I am mellowing. I’m only posting 5-7 negative articles about him each day.
20. My kids came home for spring break today. I was telling them what the campaign for Trump was like in the early days, us working so hard to get him elected.
