Two more staffers for Breitbart have resigned from the company, citing the website's pro-Donald Trump stance. National security correspondent Jordan Schachtel and associate editor Jarrett Stepman sent their resignations to management on Monday afternoon. Those two mandarins weren't alone in dismissing Trump's chances. Washington Post blogger Chris Cillizza wrote in July that "Donald Trump is not going to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2016." And numbers guru Nate Silver told readers as recently as November to "stop freaking out" about Trump's poll numbers... ABC is cutting off their partnership with the New Hampshire Union Leader for the Republican primary debate on Feb. 6, an ABC spokesperson has confirmed... ...the relationship with ABC had become strained, at best, a source at ABC with knowledge of the situation said. The next Republican debate will feature an undercard stage before the main event, the forum's host CNBC said Wednesday, assuaging some of the fears and complaints from lower-tiered presidential campaigns. Candidates polling at an average of 3 percent in the five weeks before the event will make the primetime debate at 8 p.m. EDT Oct. 28. A 2.5 percent average will be rounded up to 3 percent.
