The neo-con-artists and their open borders toadies would be perfectly comfortable voting for Clinton. The neo-con-artists came to the gop from the democrat party when the democrats started being a “peace at any price” party. They support every democrat social position: open borders, gun control, abortion, gay marriage, affirmative action, political correctness, hate-crime legislation, etc. They only came over to push the gop into engaging in never ending wars in the Middle East. Since Clinton has demonstrated that she is more than willing to engage in the never ending wars, they’ll gladly vote for her. There is really nothing to say about the open borders crowd, they are just filth.

I believe there are Washington insiders who are talking trash because they see their control of the party slipping away, but that's happening anyway. I really don't think at the end of the day there are any significant numbers of pubbies who would cross the aisle.

Remember, this is not Clinton Inc. version 1992-2000, this is version 2016 that is to the left of Obama and chasing Bernie Sanders. By any measure, Trump is the better choice.

>>>Hillary may be the lesser of two evils, but the lesser or two evils is still EVIL!<<<

Please explain. Who are you comparing Hillary to as being “the lesser of two evils”?

The Woman is PURE EVIL. Nobody is even close.

It is the Democratic establishment and the Republican establishment as well as a lot of FOX toadies who will support Hillary over Trump and fear Trump the most. The establishment along with the dupes who fall for their tactics against Trump.

Bret Baier is under the delusion BIG POWERFUL GOPe TYPES HAVE VOTES THAT COUNT FOR MORE THAN REGULAR AMERICANS.

Is Bret a brown noser?

The janitor at the FOX NEWS building has a vote that carries the exact same weight as the publisher of National Review. Does Bret know that?

Each man gets ONE vote.

This is a stupid non-story and Bret Baier’s being played for a fool by people with P O W E R. He should not be so easily impressed... AND he should name names... or not cover the story.

MIchaelTArchangel...you are seriously going to vote for Hillary Clinton rather than Donald Trump or Ted Cruz?!?! Wow, that is unreal.

And there are many Republicans who won’t vote for Cruz. These people seem bitter and would rather see Hillary.

I have an awful confession to make; but I was as fundamentally correct then as I believe I am now. The year was 1992, and the national conversations prior to that.

George H.W. Bush had uttered his now famous words, "Read my lips, no new taxes!" (unfortunately, written by my favorite political participant/observer/writer Peggy Noonan).

That phrase solidified my determination NOT TO VOTE FOR BUSH under any circumstances. The alternative was a poison pill for my decision, but my anger led to the decision : OK this will be at least a 4-year disaster, but I was willing to do it, thinking that it would be so bad that it would ban the Democrats for at least two presidential cycles.

I was basically correct, but Clinton fooled me (and everyone else) by not listening to Hillary, and moderating his tendency to yield to the GOPe on issues that really mattered. Smart. It made his re-election possible, with the help of an also smart Republican Congress.

Am I making the same mistake again? Most will probably say yes, but the duplicity of the current duplicity of the GOPe doing everything they cn to take out Trump is almost keeping me awake at night.

Incidentally, has everyone listened to Rush Limbaugh today (Tues Mar 8, 2016?) He has been discussing the big secret meeting of politicians at some East Coast offshore island including one "news" type and dozens of politicians of both parties, political wonks, technical Silicon Valley technical companies all gathered exclusively to decide "How do we stop Trump?"

This has raised several transcendental questions in my mind :

Does this meeting constitute conspiracy to deny Trump his Constitutional rights and protection?

Can this constitute a RICO violation? Are serving politicians immune?

Can Trump either sue the individually those attending or file a RICO violation Complaint?

Time to let the dogs out!

Appreciate the insight. We seem no longer to have a republic, we seem more like Russia with a ruling oligarchy. They have fabulous resources and have now exposed their fangs and willingness to turn on the American people.

In some ways, guys like Cook earned their money, but guys like Musk wallow in all the taxpayer money Obama threw at him. Musk is a carnival barker who was handed billions in taxpayer money which he now is apparently using to try and thwart the very people who’s money he took.

Insane.

Would end the GOP as a compatetive party, it will be a small niche special interest party for rich people.

I have been a registered Democrat all my voting life, and have voted Dem, only twice : My first, and much later when I hoped and expected that the results would be a decisive disaster for the Dems (no, NOT Obama...)

I have never been rich and at my age, never expect to be. I have voted Republican because it has been the only alternative to the party of welfare, the party of voter fraud (starting with my first presidential elections), the party of pandering to identity politics (the congressional Black caucus? WTF?), the party of unbridled spending, the party of literally morons elected to federal office, the party that sets their own salary and pensions, the party that allowed Congressmen and their staff to evade the Obamacare Law under the fraud of claiming themselves a "small business." and lots lots more.

Why have I said all that?
Because I deeply resent that the ONLY alternative for my vote characterized as "special interest party for rich people."

The GOP certainly wasn't that when I first started anti-dem voting. The transformation to total corruption and the "e" suffix evolved very slowly over time.

Now I have no alternative party.

TRUMP is my only alternative, at this point.

Herself is, in her fashion, so much WORSE than the very worst day Nixon ever had, and is reputed to have absolutely despised Nixon. Others may document this statement in whatever way they wish. But for loathing Nixon so very much, Herself is trying very, very hard to emulate the least attractive attributes of the 37th President.

The ultimate irony.

Herself got herself fired (when she was 24) from the Congressional Committee preparing the impeachment of Nixon, by Democrats. The chairman of the committee fired herself for lying and unethical behavior in her job as a junior assistant to the committee.

It is no random coincidence that the owners of Clinton Criminal Enterprises, Inc, are both disbarred lawyers!

Perhaps Brett can locate Alec Baldwin’s travel agent, so these “Republican Voters for Hillary” can leave the country if Trump is elected.

I would agree...if Trump makes it and stays eight years...neither party will exist in the form that they are today. There might even be four to five parties existing by the end of 2024.

I’d say that since the 1990s...both parties have been fraudulent entities...that simply acted their way through self-created operas to reach a fat-lady-singing moment, then launched into a new opera. Kinda like WWE-wrestling in a way...having good guys versus bad guys, on a continual way.

Trump is adding more diversity to the GOP big tent, not diminishing it.
