Gasparino is full of crap.
He’s been spreading rumors for months that only seem to benefit the Cruz campaign.
This is just another dirty trick.

Rubio probably prefers either Trump or Clinton to be the next president. Cruz is a younger man and a more natural future competitor.

Certainly one would not think that Rubio will get out before the debate and the hope that he can score a round house knockout punch somehow against Trump. Trump needs to execute a different kind of strategy for sure at the debate tomorrow night.

If Trump loses the general election he probably never runs again. If he wins the general election he might not run again in 4 years.
If Cruz loses the general election he will probably run again. If he wins the general election he will certainly run again in 4 years.
Cruz is a long term competitor. Trump is less of one.
Rubio will probably do whatever he sees as his best interest and give small consideration to party loyalty.

Politicians who betray the citizens should never be elected to anything again.
Before you know it, he will say that those "Trump Steaks" featured at yesterday's presser were counterfeit ...I wouldn't expect a Trump fan to care about the facts, but they were counterfeit. None of the products at his "press conference" were from Trump companies.
In the case of the steaks and the water (at least) they didn't even bother to remove the labels showing the actual sellers (Bush Brothers for the steaks, Village Springs for the water).
The actual Trump magazine went out of business in 2009. Trump Airline went bankrupt.
And, of course, Trump is being sued for fraud for his "University".
Boy, you Trump cultists sure are gullible.
Rubio does need to drop out. Save himself the embarrassment of losing his home state.
The other side of that is that if he doesn’t drop out and loses badly, his future chance for any other political office is substantially reduced.

That is unlikely. A friend of mine has been canvassing door to door for Trump in Jax FL. He says there is a lot of anger out there against Rubio and his “polling” is showing almost 9 of 10 people that he visits are for Trump.
Exactly! I did it once. It felt wrong, I wasn’t confident in its being counted and I second guessed myself constantly.
Too much can, and likely will, happen.
This was the first time I ever voted early and that was because I had to be out of town on election day. You never know what’s going to happen.
