Hey Rubio, you waiting on a headline that an alien invasion has begun? Wait, that would put Trump over 50%!
Every day that passes hurts Rubio because there’s such a massive absentee and early balloting. I saw somewhere that something like 1/3 of all the votes may have already been cast. And considering that many have already voted for him, I think he should be a man and stay in, even if he loses badly.
Don’t worry about, people are used to Cruz supporters getting all bent of shape and nasty over meaningless things. I’d be that way too if I backed a loser.

For the first time my wife and I have not been polled at all and we know of no one here who has . We asked around and others have asked us and not one person has been polled which is weird.
We have had no robo calls , but we have had tons and tons of attacks AD’s against trump by the establishment to help defeat him.
I think this is about the only smart thing left he can do. If he gets pounded in a GOP caucus vote, then his Senate seat is very much in jeopardy (moreso than now at least). If he gets out beforehand, he’ll have some plausible deniability regarding how he would have done.
Good, Kasich should do the same. No spoilers. Let’s have a pure contest between Trump and Cruz.
So here’s the plan. Rubio drops out, casts his lot with Cruz for the V.P. slot, and he’ll try to get his folks to vote for Ted.
Ted gets the nomination for joining the GOPe to take Trump down.
Not a bad plan for a GOPe insider.
