Trump Butler: "Incredibly Generous," "Just A Nice Man"
Real Clear Politics ^ | March 10,2016 | By Ian Schwartz

Former Trump butler Tony Senecal defended Donald Trump in an interview with CNN's Carol Costello this morning.

"He's an incredibly generous person. He's been generous to his employees. He's generous to strangers. He's an entirely a nice guy. He's not the gruff person that people make him out to be. Sure, you attack him, he's going to fight back. But most of the time he's just a nice man. I lasted with him for 20 years, he had to be pretty good," Senecal said.

Senecal defended Trump as a patriot who wants what is best for the country.

"His interest in the American people. His patriotism. The man was born on Flag Day. He's a very patriotic person -- ahem, excuse me -- and he wants what's best for this country," he told CNN.

The former butler called BS on claims that Trump's water, magazine and steak businesses were unsuccessful ventures.

"That it wasn't true that he didn't have the water, that he didn't have the magazine, that he didn't have a steak. It is all bull," Senecal said.

Several years ago Newsmax ran a story on Senecal, titled The Real Story on Donald Trump.

Interesting, they have to find people to say how nice he is. It is like no one would believe it without proof

Nah, it's just general background stuff. They do it for everyone. I've seen several about old classmates of Cruz. Not that important unless you run into someone like Obama who has no past to speak of, so these kind of stories weren't really possible.

I have in 8 months never heard anything like this about Cruz,

Here's a video showing some 'family testimony'.

Watch Ted Cruz coach his family through a campaign ad shoot

Add personal butler to things Cruz will never have....besides a plane and buildings w/ his name on it.

Do you Trumpetts even hear yourselves now days? Like not having those things makes one a failure.

The love of money... and those that envy what their neighbors have.

A measure of a person’s character is how it’s hired help consider them. Now take Hillary and Obama....

That's true. While I don't generally hang out with folks who have hired servants, the same can be said of how they treat waiters and waitresses in restaurants. That's one reason you take women out to eat when you're dating. If you see them getting really nasty with a waitress, it's time to run away.

“Interesting, they have to find people to say how nice he is. It is like no one would believe it without proof”

They were trying to find dirt...were you born yesterday? There are thousands of people who will say Trump is very generous and nice. Cruz on the other hand it is pretty tough...he is a snake in the grass to people. His lying and deceit do not make him very popular with associates.

Likes his steak well done? Ketchup on steak?

That's exactly how I like my steaks. Smothered in ketchup. Yummy yummy. It also gives it that fresh kill appearance.

HE is the one who lamented he/ll never have a plane w/ his name on it.

Exactly what I heard from his employees when I had lunch at Trump Towers this summer. His waiters and busboys love him. That says a lot about his character. Imagine what Clinton’s employees would say if they didn’t have a confidentiality agreement!

Interesting about women in restaurants. I have a friend who is generally nice but she’s quite cold and snippy to waiters. I don’t get it. Her husband is wonderfully chatty with restaurant staff as is my husband. I love waiters. Anyone who brings me food is swell in my book!

You can tell a person’s true character by how they treat people who are under their authority or below them in the class scale. This speaks to character and class.

When I was young, we weren't poor. But did not have a lot of choices when it came to steak sauces.

Rush did a great send-up of this interview. CNN expected to have someone sling the dirt and instead got somebody full of compliments.
