His change was meely to the tense .. instead of “the attacker’s name IS ...” he wishes it were “the attacker’s name WAS.”

The discussion of Trump causing something is absurd when we have populated our campuses with far left wackos who believe in the destruction of America. They are a powder keg waiting to explode democracy. Along with the millions of illegals and Muslim extremists they are an immediate that to anyone trying to stop them.
Hillary should make known her thoughts, which I suppose would be to throw the guy in jail. After all, she did that to a guy that made a video that 9 people viewed. She is all about law and order you know.

Trump is made of different stuff than me. If that attempted attack had happened to me, I would need at least an hour or two to collect myself, then regain my stage presence. You know the audience expected his immediate come-back.
This may have been a good time to have a second tier speaker go on the mike for a while. Lots to be stage managed when you become a target.

I expect he may have a wireless headset; however, he definitely was warned as I watched the whole rally and just before he resumed his speech he thanked someone down in front of the stage for warning him.
