A Muslim-American fencing powerhouse will proudly become the first U.S. Olympian to wear a hijab, but she was asked to take off the religious head covering while posing for an I.D. photo at SXSW.
Ibtihaj Muhammad, the world champion fencer who has become a Muslim-American icon and an outspoken critic of Donald Trump’s Islamophobic policies, tweeted Saturday that she was asked to take off her hijab while registering for the tech festival in Austin, Tex.
“Even after I explained it was for religious reasons, he insisted I had to remove my hijab for the photo to receive my badge,” Muhammad tweeted, going on to say that she was given the wrong I.D., belonging to a Time Warner employee with a Muslim-sounding name, Tamir Muhammad.

Another low information voter. Trump didn’t say he was deporting all muslims. He said he was against allowing them in our country if they weren’t properly vetted and that assessories to crimes should be held accountable.

If I have to deal with s3xual assault every time I fly because of Muslim terrorists, Muslims can deal with uncovering their heads for a photo i.d. .
Over here we only ask them to uncover their heads on occasion, but over there they cut off your head whenever they want.
And for security reasons I have to remove my belt and shoes every time I fly because of muslims. I don’t run to the MSM and whine about it.
