Phoebe Laub (1950-2011) took her stage name from a famous Lackawanna train that ran from Hoboken to Buffalo. Her one hit was followed by her husband turning gay, her daughter being born with brain damage, and the end of her career as she spent all her time taking care of her daughter. This was her one hit.

Good evening, Army Bro! Logged in but outside the perimeter, as usual.

Last Sunday, I enjoyed the signal honor of joining in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Washington, DC with AbnSarge, The Ancient Order of Hibernians, of which I am a proud member, and a host of others including our Military of all branches, the Police Emerald Society, DC Fire Department Pipers, Irish dancers, and many others.

AbnSarge recruited me into his AOH Division recently. Not surprisingly, most of the members are Vets. Our Division created a float representing the General Post Office in Dublin, the epicenter of the 1916 Easter Monday Rising.

For me, it closed a loop - my late Father used to drive his horse-drawn carriages in this Parade. The air was heavy with his memory and presence!

I spent yesterday sick at home, but if you check my post of a few minutes ago to Procon, you will see that I had a great St. Patrick's Day!

If I can't get things resolved on the desktop in the next couple of days, I'll buy something else - I've already got a 2 TB hard drive that I can plug into it.
