There's something weird about GOP Presidential polling in California

California could be pivotal in the upcoming GOP Presidential primary. Most of the delegates are awarded on a "winner take all" scheme based on the top vote getter in each congressional district. Still, the statewide popularity of Trump and Cruz will probably determine many of the district results.

But it's hard to know the relative strength of Trump and Cruz because recent polling in California has been sparse, and contradictory. There have been only two polls in March, and both give conflicting, and odd results.

People in California hear only one candidate’s name: Trump.

In California, more than most states, the group you draw your sample from matters. Are you sampling adults, citizens, registered voters, or likely voters? I would guess that the results among non-citizens are VERY different from those among citizens. Particularly if those calling for the poll are multilingual and don’t ask about citizenship, you could get far less Trump support than will appear at the polls (to the extent that California enforced voting laws at the polls).

It doesn’t really matter until their primary day. All else is speculation based on old candidate lists.

California’s voting laws permit illegals to vote. Period. It doesn’t matter they are at the polls. Illegals are registered to vote when they get drivers’ licenses and are told to vote. And if that contravenes federal law who thinks the DOJ will enforce anything?

They will vote wherever they are needed. In the election itself they will decide California’s electoral votes.

TRUMP BALLOT SECURITY PROJECT
Committee to Restore America’s Greatness PAC
FR Posted 3/19/16 by Albion Wilde

The Trump Ballot Security Project (TBSP) was formed when the main stream media reported dozens of voting irregularities in the Texas Republican primary. This ultimately totaled over 600 reports in at least six counties including Dallas County and Travis County.

In virtually every case votes cast for Donald J. Trump were tallied for Senator Marco Rubio. The TBSP established a Toll Free number to collect further reports of voter irregularities.

Almost immediately there were over 300 complaints from Oklahoma. Only a week later the Kansas and Maine Caucuses brought hundreds of more complaints including claims of double voting by supporters of Sen. Ted Cruz.

Now we are focused on Arizona, Utah, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. To the extent possible, we are attempting to place trained poll watchers in those counties with a recent history of voter fraud.

The Trump Ballot Security Project is committed to investigating all complaints of voter fraud. In the event a pattern can be determined, the seating of these delegations can and will be challenged before the Credentials committee of the Republican National Convention.

We have dispatched lawyers and election law experts to all of the states mentioned above to investigate and document voter fraud. NOTE The Trump campaign is not currently devoting resources to this important function.

TBSP is a project of the Committee To Restore America's Greatness

Your talkin’ of California - ‘weird’ is redundant.

Trump's DOJ should deport all illegals who vote in federal elections and permanently bar them from any legal reentry or path to legal residence/citizenship. If we cannot tell with California, all their illegals should be deported and barred forever.

The Trump Ballot Security Project (TBSP)

Ultimately, this is what the establishment is afraid of.

I think the most troubling to GOPeers is that the TBSP will challenge the seating of delegates in states where fraud has been discovered.

Also reported is that the Perry/Cruz cabal in Texas is refusing to slate delegates won by Trump.

I was a registered Republican here in California until I got so disgusted with the RNC I went and changed to Independent in 2007. Well a few weeks ago a large yellow card came from the Registrar of Voters informing me that I was invited to the Democratic Primary but to be able to vote for a Republican President I would need to re-register as a Republican. So I did just that so I could vote for Trump. In speaking with friends they do not seem to be aware of this. Inn essence, California has a closed primary for the selection of President.

Yes correct in that the primary vote for president in Kali will be closed to unaffiliated voters.

Also, the last day to switch to the Republican Party was March 23rd.

Of course this is not true. All voter registrations must be cleared with the Sec of State for citizenship.
