Cruzbots would NEVER do that.
It has the unflattering oeuvre of Edwards, Cosby, and Bubba wrapped into one.
The interview has the ring of truth to it.
Likewise, the publisher states that there is video of the interview.
But Cruz can blow this all out of the water by making the following statements:
1.) “I have never been unfaithful to my wife Heidi”
2.) “I have never had an affair, or a mistress or mistresses”
3.) “I demand an immediate apology and retraction from the National Enquirer, or I will direct my legal team to being legal proceedings against them.”
That’s all he has to do. But he won’t.

I think this particular “scoop” is a bulls**t creative writing exercise that’s just getting the hashtag applied to drive traffic to a blog. No one speaks they way this “interview” is written in real life.
That being said, the fact that Ted Cruz has not really responded to the National Enquirer at all and instead focused on mentioning Trump’s name a zillion times, makes me think that perhaps where there’s smoke, there is some fire. Guess time will tell. But this blog is not solid evidence of anything.
I suspect Cruz has cheated on his wife, but this “interview” sounds like a bunch of baloney intended to confuse the issue.

Which means an uber smart Harvard Law School grad would realize how easy it would be to sue the NE for libal.

It’s very reminiscent of the TANG story reported by Dan Rather. Totally unverifiable. And for a good reason. Because it’s fabricated. But the crazies are babbling about it as though it were true.
Strange that the so-called “Constitutional expert lawyer” has not mentioned suing the National Enquirer. Only Trump he wants to badmouth, when this info has been floating around for months on Cruz.

this does for the campaigns as Trump is already leading so what is this doing?
I don’t like Cruz lately but I doubt this “story”. No one in it gives their name. And not too many 18 year old hookers are going to have a costume wardrobe.
I’m a major Trump supporter, but I don’t cotton to this kind of innuendo. If there’s actual evidence, then fine, it could be a legitimate issue, but only because Cruz operatives attacked Melania Trump and because Cruz presents himself as wholesome as apple pie and “holier than thou”. Otherwise, I generally could give a rat’s behind about who sleeps with who because don’t necessarily think it’s particularly relevant. After all, Ronald Reagan was MAJOR womanizer even while married to Jane Wyman and to some degree when he was first married to Nancy Davis.
But right now, I’ve seen no EVIDENCE about these putative Cruz peccadilloes, just a bunch of BS innuendo. And I don’t necessarily assume there’s fire just because there’s smoke because the enemedia is REALLY good a blowing smoke up peoples’ behinds.
