A fetus is either a human being or it isn’t. I believe it is a human being.
It used to be that a woman had an abortion because society wouldn’t accept a single mother. Now, it’s because she can’t be bothered. Single motherhood is definitely accepted in this day and age.
I think a lot of young women have abortions that wouldn’t if we had an open and honest discussion on what abortion is. They don’t realize that they may regret the act for the rest of their lives.
I was referring to the fallout that would happen. Maybe there shouldn’t be any, but you can’t control that.

Duh. If something is illegal and you do it, you get punished. How big of a deal is that? This could even help him in the primaries because most Republicans are pro-life.

With today’s society of abortion, people are not being coerced or forced to get abortions (although it does happen). If a woman is willingly going to abort her child, she should face the same consequences. The thought never crossed their minds before to do such a thing, because most abortions back then were not mothers who willingly murdered their child.
I’m definitely NOT a Trump supporter either but I say kudos to him too if he said this and meant it.
