As a result, my friends in the Israeli left have decided to write him an open letter:
Dear Bernie,
We are writing to you with much appreciation and esteem to tell you that -
You belong with us.
Come, emigrate to Israel and leave the dirty work to Hillary Clinton, your competitor for the Democratic candidacy.
She is intelligent, she is not Jewish, she thinks like you, but knows how to hide it.
Come to our land, dear Bernie.
In Israel, even though we are only a small percentage of the general public, we have managed to gain control of the entire country.
We have writers like Amos Oz, A.B. Yehoshua, David Grossman and playwrights like Yehoshua Sobol.
We have succeeded in establishing organizations that write, photograph and help BDS, such as B'Tselem, Breaking the Silence, Yesh Gvul and Peace Now.
We have journalists who star on radio and TV, like legal reporter Moshe Negbi, Arye Golan, popular talkshow host Razi Barkai, Amnon Abramowitz, Ha'aretz columnists Gideon Levy and Amira Hass, who even lives in Ramallah.
We have former generals and ISS heads who are ours, such as Ami Ayalon, Yuval Diskin and Amiram Levine. We have politicians like Meretz' Zehava Galon.
We have built an infrastructure and foundation that will allow you to continue your work.
What are you doing in the USA? Come and emigrate to Israel, and we will bring Leon Trotsky, our one-time Jewish leader, back to life.

I used to think that Bernie Sanders was Josef Stalin with Alzheimer’s; now, I think that Bernie Sanders is Joseph Goebbels with Alzheimer’s. The guy is an idiot spouting Leftwing shibboleths.
Worse he’s beating all GOP candidates in the General - like the polls or not - it looks bad at the moment.
The last thing Israel needs is another socialist or anti-Semite. They’ve got a tough time preventing the ones they’ve already got from doing any more damage. Just saying.

The power-to-responsibilty ratio is astonishingly high for a US Senator. John McCain, for example, fought many times harder against J.D. Hayworth to keep his seat in the Senate than he ever did against Barack Obama in their race for the Presidency.
My point—which I failed to note—is that Bernie Sanders would need a lot more incentive to drop out of the race. At the very least, Bernie’s race will help him keep his seat in the Senate.
I am ashamed that Bernie could be a viable candidate in the USA. I also never understood the Jewish left. Are they wishing for their own destruction?
If Bernie wins the Democrat nomination, he will be a sitting duck in debates and ads for any Republican nominee with half a brain:

Will you do the same with toilet paper? I mean look how many brands of toilet paper there are. Shall we just set up a monopoly of one company, or better yet, a government monopoly, to produce exactly the right amount of toilet paper, or otherwise limit the amount of toilet paper that gets produced?
Are you going to hire Michael Gruber to be the guy who figures out the correct amount of toilet paper that people should be allowed to use? He's smart. He teaches at MIT. So why shouldn't we put him in charge of figuring out exactly how much of everything should or shouldn't be produced for the American people?

The article is clever satire IMHO. As for American Jews, most of them support the corrupt Hillary over the senile Bernie Sanders. Of course, the Orthodox Jews support Ted Cruz. They have the Jewish religion to practice instead of Ted Kennedy style Liberalism as a religion.
I don’t know any Orthodox Jews who favor Cruz, although they don’t hate him. The Orthodox Jews whom I know favor Trump.
I do know one Orthodox Jew who is a blogger who favors Cruz over Trump.
He does poll better than Hillary does in the GE. But I don’t think he could withstand a concentrated attack, most of America doesn’t really know much about him. Couple that with the lack of enthusiasm Blacks and Hispanics (meaning they won’t turnout, not that those that did wouldn’t vote for him) have for him and would be surprised if he could even make it close race.
We’ll never know though, cause Hillary will win the nomination.

It’s either Hillary of Bernie in a landslide. Why? Because republicans and conservatives have collectively ‘decided’ on the worst possible candidates. The nation was theirs to win but now it is too lose.
