Trump/Cruz wouldn't be bad, Ted would be under-utilized is all I'm saying.

Cruz was Texas A.G., before becoming a Senator, arguing & winning before the Supreme Courts for our 1st & 2nd Amendment rights.

Once again, if Trump can close the Deal, Scott Walker or Jeff Sessions would be good choices as well.

Plus I believe the Trump/Cruz relationship is beyond repair.

Who is Jeffrey Lord? Besides a clueless asshat?

Jeffrey Lord is a conservative's conservative. Worked for Jack Kemp and Ronald Reagan. Longtime American Spectator writer whose every piece is a must-read. Trump friend, advisor, and regular panelist defending Trump on CNN. Responsible for one of the greatest takedowns of the Democrat Party in live television history when he went mano a mano with Van Jones and kicked his ass over the Democrat KKK.

You couldn't lift his jockstrap.

"But Cruz as VP would make Mitch McConnell's worst nightmare come true as Cruz would become President of the Senate."

I will never support Ted Cruz for ANY public office.

............................................

Nor will I. The people of Texas must be proud to have elected a lying Canadian for their Senator.

Same sex marriage is one thing. Inter-species presidential ticket is another. A man (Trump) and a snake (Cruz). I don’t think the public is ready for that.

I thought early last year that the natural winning ticket was trump/cruz.

Thanks.

Can’t stand the Dime Minister of Canada.

I would still like Sessions to be his running mate.

Trump/Cruz is the only combined ticket I see with Trump, because I don’t see him accepting VP.

I could see Trump as President with a promise to put Cruz on the Supreme Court in place of Scalia.

We’ve been paying for that for the last 30 years!

Let’s hope Trump can actually do Reagan one better and destroy the GOP elites that have refused to represent their voters.

No thanks. We did that once before when Reagan took Bush as vice president. Bush brought all his new world order cronies with him. The same thing would happen with a Trump-Cruz ticket with Cruz (the crypto globalist) would bring all his wife’s attachments with him.

Trump and Cruz are not that far apart on what their platforms presents. Unfortunately, they both have huge egos. BUT, they just MIGHT be able to work together once they both realize that NITHER OF THEM WILL BE THE GOP CANDIDATE, together they just might. Going rogue and joining forces they could very well beat the GOP at their own game. Time to buy more popcorn.

What Cruz is missing is this:

People who will cheat FOR you will also cheat AGAINST you.

People who will lie FOR you will lie against you.

“This reminds me of 1980, when both Reagan and G.H.W. Bush fought each other and they both ended up being becoming President and Vice President.”.............

Strange how history has a way of repeating itself.

I have repeated since November - Cruz would never be VP for such an unprincipled, immoral and classless candidate as Trump. Cruz wouldn’t put himself out to lie for Trump because Cruz does not lie. And the nevertrump crowd would not vote for the ticket if it happened.
