This reads like it was written by Target.
I still think the only *practical* alternatives are not “soft” ones. That is, only liberals and fools think that staff meetings, counseling, and hand holding, while at their strongest to “deplore” the evil acts of evil people, actually accomplishes *anything*. They does not.
So what are the “hard” alternatives?
1) Target needs to install surveillance cameras in its restrooms, assuredly monitored *only* by security personnel appropriate to that gender. And to prosecute any obscene, indecent or harassing behavior by those in their restrooms. And restrooms must be posted according to these criteria.
2) Prohibit children under the age of 18 from entering their restrooms, unless accompanied by an adult parent or guardian. And if there is no available adult parent or guardian, the store will provide them a chaperon of the appropriate gender, to help insure them that they are not set upon by a sexual predator.
Of course, both of these things are far more tangible than what Target has done so far. But it gives Target the opportunity to “put their money where their mouth is”, instead of just risking the lives of their customers.
And unless one or both of these means are carried out, then Target should be financially liable for any harm that comes to someone using their restroom.
The solution until the cultures cancer is defeated will be numerous individual uni-sex individual bathrooms..... Short term will be security guards inside to prevent the perverts doing pervert stuff to others....
The boycott war is neither persuasive nor effective...

I would suggest that Target needs to explain exactly how sharing a bathroom with a male makes a female feel like they, the female, belongs?
After a while he escalated to breaking into several homes,raping the female occupant,taking photos of them and stealing their underwear.And *then* he raped,tortured and murdered a woman under his command (an Air Force "airman") and also a woman whose house he would pass on his way to and from the air base.

There are plenty of good reasons for social conservatives to boycott Target. This is just the latest one.
My local Kroger store has 2 gender neutral, side by side bathrooms and has been that way since the store opened. I HATE IT with a passion and will go home before I will use them. I went in there once when the store opened and the toilet seat was up, urine on the bowl. My husband and son get away with that at home, but I can’t deal with a strangers uncleanliness. I prefer my public restrooms as women only. Men are gross.
That would’t work. Men suffering from transgender mental illness want to be seen as equals to real women IN the common area of the women’s bathroom. Floor to ceiling walls and individual cubicles would be instantly rejected as a rejection of their claim to be 100% real women and that would be micro aggressive.

Just remember where this all started. It was when Affirmative Action became a no-no and morphed instead to diversity.
The lie was spread that diversity is good and we need it, so now we have to have all diverse cultures and beliefs accepted into our lives, no matter how deviant to make us ‘better’.
