Yeah, me too. A lot of those SS guys had been in the Party since before Hitler took over Germany, and the younger ones had been in the Hitler Youth since they were 10 years old, which was like pre-military training. Kinda like the Boy Scouts with guns and attitude.

Excuse if this query sounds a bit skeptical but why was this person bandaged without the 'blood' being cleaned off of his face yet not a smidgen even at the edge of the bandage and what only appears to be a couple of tiny droplets on the left chest/should area of his shirt? I work in a hospital, not on an ambulance, so it looks queer to me to see the lily white bandage wrapped around his head and then under his chin like that. More often seen in dramas on television than in real life.

I'm not calling this person a liar but merely asking about what jumped out at me when I looked at this. Has the injury or the picture been verified?
