Breitbart.com ^ | May 2, 2016 | Rebecca Mansour

Posted on 05/02/2016 3:17:11 PM PDT by Biggirl

In a fiery rally speech for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Sunday night, Glenn Beck expressed his belief that God has sent us Cruz as “a man who was raised for these times,” and that God has deliberately prolonged the GOP primary season so that every state in the union will be forced to choose between “good or evil.”

Doubling down on Brain. Dead. Stupid.

Over and over and over.

This is not the kind of thinking I want in a president or in anyone around the president.

To say that Beck “lost it” is to imply he “had it” in the first place.

When Glenn Beck figures out that Joseph Smith was a two-bit con man, and that God doesn’t live on a planet near the Kolob star, then I’ll start to believe he’s partially out of his delusion.

All I know is this:

If Trump wins the primary and presidency and then does a 180 degree turn towards liberalism and big govt state-ism after he is sworn in...

Beck is going to be unbearably “see I told you so” for the next 4 years... well until the FCC shuts him down...

Yup. I can't imagine what Beck would come up with as "special advisor."

In SC Beck was saying that God had sent Cruz to guide us thru the rapture. Later he said that Scalia’s death was part of God’s plan to get us to vote for Cruz. In Utah Beck said that Cruz was the fulfillment of Mormon prophecy. Just a few weeks ago Beck was comparing Cruz to Moses.

Beck’s latest outburst of religious lunacy doesn’t come as a surprise.

If Cruz objected to such talk he would have ditched Beck or told him to stop with the crazy talk, but apparently Cruz doesn’t mind it, or approves.

Such talk sounds more like someone holed-up in a compound with a stockpile of Kool-Aid.

Ted has won 11 states, 4 of which where you actually go in and vote.

“God has deliberately prolonged the GOP primary season so that every state in the union will be forced to choose between “good or evil.””

That’s odd, because I thought there was a schedule that provided for EVERY state to have a primary/caucus vote prior to the convention, regardless of the outcomes in the previous states.

Silly me. Who knew it was the Deity himself altering the primary schedule so all GOP voters would have the opportunity to cast out the evil Donald J. Trump, an opportunity according to Glenn Beck that not all states would have had otherwise.

True but worth the risk. Cruz would be a horrible president. Trump might be in top 5.

The endless “I have a major announcement, breakthrough, etc” that never came might have been hype or ratings.
I have to say yes, per the Cheetos dust thing.

Neither Cruz nor Trump is evil.

Obama is a mixture of angry hatred and evil, bubbling over with malice.

Hillary is a cold, evil lust for power.

Bernie is the classic bait and switch evil - one man, one vote, one time. Just give socialism a chance under him, and he would promise to relinquish power if it didn’t work. Trust him.

But Trump and Cruz? They’re both imperfect but more or less good. They both love America. Beck’s rhetoric is harming Trump, harming Cruz, and harming America. I wish people would ignore him.

I believe God will put Hillary in power because America is still under judgment after Obama and hasn’t turned back to Him.
