Prince of Desmond has echoed my sentiments on the Trump candidacy.

But isn’t Mr. Bill still in charge?

Dennis Miller is discussing Gingrich on Facebook now - asking people if he should be Veep, or Sec. of State, and someone suggested Chief of Staff.

I’m just waiting for the day Mr. Trump can come up with something conservative to say when he speaks off the cuff. I’m not holding my breath but someday he might.

Yeah, and the first thing to do is to stop referring to Mrs. Bill Clinton as “Hillary”!

I always thought Secretary of State, but maybe just a White House advisor would be better. Newt is really more of an ideas guy than an administrator.

“If you are a NeverTrump type person, you are working against our purposes on FR, so please opus out now and log off and let us carry on with our mission in peace.

Continue insulting us with 24/7 anti-Trump diatribes and insults, your opus will be assumed.

We will unite behind our nominee and we will win this coming election (with or without you)”

Not a chance that will happen. Trump insulted Cruz’s wife, dad and kept calling him lyin Ted. I wouldn’t be surprised if Cruz didn’t endorse Trump. As a Cruz supporter, I will never forgive Trump and surely will never vote for him. Never.

> How do you go from Lying Ted is the biggest liar I’ve ever seen in my life

Do you really believe everything Trump says ?

Remember how viciously Trump slandered Dr. Carson until he wasn't a threat ?

Trump admitted it was all politics, and these attacks were purely, meant to take out the latest threat.

Cruz has the second largest number of delegates, and he needs a southern state like Texas, thus the most logical V.P. pick.

Trump needs to patch things up with Cruz and make him V.P.

Thanks for the laugh. Had the unnecessary and ruinous Trump-Cruz war never started, your suggestion would be excellent.

Well, I can’t see me voting for Mr. Trump any time soon. The personal attacks coming from Trump supporters, even after today’s victory, is very revealing. I don’t think Trump or his supporter treated Cruz fairly. It’s not ok to make shit up or attack someone wife. Frankly I don’t want to be associated with someone who uses these type of tactics. I think there are millions, like me that will just stay home, not just because of his below the belt tactics but also his positions. He going to need to get millions of Dems to cross over - because there will be millions that will just stay home.

Trump is a lifelong Dem and is the second coming of Perot.

Trump is a 9/11 truther.

Trump is very, very, very inarticulate.

So there.

Guess I forgot about the part where Perot won the Republican nomination.

I have been on FR for a while and I never ever have gotten so mad when I received the personal attacks from the Cruz supporters at the beginning of the primary. It goes both ways. I moved on, so should you.

Depressing, isn't it? Vile stuff. Ugly in defeat is more understandable and forgivable than ugly in victory.

Still, the supporters are not running for office, and I agree with most of Trump's stated positions: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions

I will vote for Trump without hesitation.

That's unfortunate. Trump and Cruz decided to make things personal, but there's no reason the rest of us need to get into that foolishness - and it is foolishness to take politics personally. The prize is the White House, and the opponent is Hillary, not Cruz or Trump.

Trump is attacking Newt's baby-NAFTA.

We put the GOP in control in 1994 and the first thing they did was stab us in the back by passing NAFTA.
