ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – The carjacking suspect wounded in a shootout near Busch Stadium last month has died. (Follow up story from earlier post.)

Bad guys are coming downtown to ply their trade and are being killed.

I remember this story. The owner was concealing his firearm. There was a shootout, and the owner was wounded. So, sometimes there are happy endings to these stories.

Investigators have reclassified the case to a homicide.

Does that mean the victim is going to charged for murder?

Or they’ll charge the accomplices.

Happened to me. I drove off dragging him. People said I should have backed over him when he let go. That would have been attempted. Turns out he stabbed his mom and step father 2 days later, killing him. Cops can’t do anything until he hurts someone. BTW he bit a hospital worker b4 they let him go.
