LOL, that short list gets longer every day. Tomorrow therell be another short list of 50 people from Sarah palin to Elvis Presley.
Elvis would be a good choice, and at last report he is alive and semi-well at some nursing home in Mud Creek Texas, go find the film 'Bubba Ho-Tep' (if you've never seen it) and prepare to be highly entertained.

Doesn't he seem to be the right choice?
Courage, knowledge, intelligence he seems to truly possess. Additionally, he has
experience in one of the two most important issues of this campaign: the threat of Islam
(the other is globalism). He has gone out on the limb against Crooked Witch & emails.
After Comey's announcement this morning, I think we need someone unafraid to take on
the Establishment. Who better than a distinguished military man with his background?
My question to you: Does Flynn have any skeletons that we know of? Or weaknesses in general?

There is an “event” being advertised on Facebook featuring the Lt. General scheduled for Cleveland headlining “Next Sec of Defense”!
There are also some great interviews on YouTube (& his book)
VP or Sec of Defense, either way, this man currently is and will be involved with a Trump Administration.
+1
+1 for flying under the radar till now, too!

You know his character on BN where he drinks mojitos? He’s actually drinking them on cue so he’s mostly buzzed afterwards LOL.

I don’t care one way or the other......Frankly I am not sure a military guy is the guy I want in either the presidency or the VP.
I will accept whoever Trump picks.....
The VP position is truly a nothing burger UNLESS....and we don’t want to think of that.
Trump needs someone who can help him manage capitol hill........imho

I think the General would be better suited as National Security Advisor. Trump needs to select a VP with some political experience and who can help him carry a key swing state. One of Trump’s strengths is that he is not a politician beholden to the special interests, still a VP with some political experience could help him navigate the minefields of DC.

I saw Elvis in Vegas last week - he said only suspicious minds would think he was in the running.
To: Mariner
Natural fit if he can be a Political Attack Dog.
Thats the irony of Trump: He is his own political attack dog. Its at the center of his (intensely criticized as not presidential) schtick.

Elvis never went overseas other than Hawaii. He wouldn't be able to attend all of those funerals.

No CIB? Not necessarily a problem. CIBs are part luck, like lots of things in the military. And some even make fools of themselves trying to place themselves in a position to get one. Let it pass, Rannug.

I thought Elvis was stationed in Germany? Anybody?
To: morphing libertarian; mkjessup
Yes, Elvis served in Germany.
To: silverleaf
Flynn would make a great Sec. of Defense — Maybe all this searching isn’t so much for a VP but to fill out Trumps Cabinet -—He said he may well show who he will select before the Convention. He needs people with a known track record—people in the know, not yes men (and women) but people who will advise Trump and keep his agenda on line when they face the slings and arrows of the Left wing Media (They will constantly attack and see every misstep as a cause for impeachment, outright rebellion and cruel mocking, just ask Sarah Palin about what they and the Hollywood crowd can do). He needs Congress knowledgeable people—because he will get no support from Ryan and the GOPe.
