Good news from Wisconsin. With one month left before republican primary voters go to the polls in Wisconsin (August 9th Congressional District 1), challenger Paul Nehlen is gaining significant ground. Nehlen is well positioned within striking distance:

WISCONSIN CD 1 ryan vs nehlen July

The poll results were released today from the Nehlen campaign:

Janesville, WI – Today the Nehlen campaign is releasing data on one of its latest polls that shows incumbent Paul Ryan now well below 50% among likely Republican primary voters in the district. The poll, conducted by P.M.I., has Ryan at 43%. This represents a drop of more than 30 points since the Nehlen campaign began polling likely Republican primary voters earlier in the year.

I sent Nehlen ten bucks a couple of weeks ago even though I don't live in Wisconsin and even though I didn't have much hope he could Cantror Paul Rino.

Time to send him another ten bucks.

Ryan tried for a big save last week but the receiver dropped it.

Ryan has betrayed his country and the State of Wisconsin.

I was in the area today and saw several Nehlen signs, no Ryan signs. But this is the very “conservative Republican” area of Milwaukee suburbs and adjacent rural areas that voted overwhelmingly for Cruz over Trump and have loved Ryan in the past. It will be interesting to watch...

Yes but Ryan is more of a globalist when it comes to trade. That is a big plus for Ryan in my book.

Nehlen is a tatted, Harley-riding businessman. His ads against Paul, the Perfumed Prince, are devastating. Sensing another political kill of an elitist poobah.

Ryan is doing worse than Cantor with one month to go.

Can’t wait to see him gone.

Ryan is also all for having more America-hating Syrians come to this country. He is worse than Boehner.

Love the guy and I REALLY want him to win, but WHY does he always take such incredibly boring photos..?

His arms hang straight down on both sides and his face is utterly devoid of ANY expression.

That does NOT convey eagerness or energy.

He needs to wake up and PROJECT LEADERSHIP.

You know? I think HIS election is one of the most important in the WHOLE COUNTRY.

He should act like it.

Jesus.

If Ryan is Cantored out, this would be a HUGE blow to the republican establishment.

I pray this happens. I pray John McCain is thrown out as well.

Could you imagine two high profile establishment RINOs being tossed on top of the rebellion currently underway with Trump as the vehicle of that rebellion?

Far more important than arm-angle is whether the good conservative Republicans of Waukesha and Racine counties are going to support their boy Ryan or if they understand he is having impact beyond WI CD 1 and they’re the only ones who can do anything about it.
