Just exactly what I’m hoping for—Newt as Chief of Staff, Bolton as SOS.

Chief of staff would be the ideal position.

I see Newt as chief of staff and meeting every single day with President Trump.

Been praying for that for months! If Trump names him for that, I will start sleeping good for the first time in many years-

It was reported that he's going for Trey G for AG - That was another prayer.

We were saved from a bad slide by Reagan - but the GOPe dictated who his 'people' would be and that was a stumbling block - even before the election by forcing papa Bush on him. He DID NOT want Bush - that scenario had a lot to do with things like him being unable to keep his promise about closing down the Dept of Education. that was disastrous - for now we have a voting generation almost thoroughly indoctrinated for big gov't.

They won't be telling Trump who his people will be -

God works in mysterious ways, indeed.

got that right - Pence is perfect for VP - but Newt would be wasted in that post - His brilliance is needed elsewhere - like Chief of Staff.

Now after Trump chose Pence for VP and evidently Gowdey for AG, if he puts in Gingrich for Chief of Staff - I will let my breath out and sleep soundly

“Let me guess. You’re a “bomb mecca” type. :-)”

My comment was meant as sarcasm, hence the little (s). That said, if Mecca were to receive some form of physical retribution for it's “cultural contribution to the world,” I wouldn't send flowers! And actually, the UN’s “cultural contribution to the world” is “greater” that that of Mecca, FWIW!

“He DID NOT want Bush -”

No he didn’t, but he DID TAKE HIM! Donald Trump, OTOH, won’t put up with that kind of fifth column. If Pence were to go off the reservation, Trump would have him making “state visits” to all the little $hit hole countries around the world until his toenails fell off, and nothing else. But to be fair to RR, the country haddn’t yet really figured out that the GOPe were a cadre of douchebags who suckled at the tit of big business. Trump has the advantage of seeing things firsthand.

I see Newt as chief of staff and meeting every single day with President Trump. Bolton would be the best Sec of State. He is a master in that arena.

You and I think alike on these two.

How about Chief of Staff?

Secretary of State has got to be Mustache, the Fox News contributor.

No, worries. Hey, I believe you. You are a Republican. :)

A little story of me attending the second W inauguration. Up early after a redeye flight and headed for metro. Bought ticket and headed down the enormous distance on the seemingly never-ending escalator when I realized I left my gloves by the ticket machine. It was freezing out and no gloves would be horrible. Back up the never-ending escalator and went to lost found. MY GLOVES WERE THERE. So I told the guy at lost and found, “Of course my gloves would be turned in. All the Republicans are in town today.”

In the lost and found and so soon after you lost them. Thank heavens for Republicans, and it’s still a good story even if you don’t know who turned them in. Thanks for sharing.
