Endorsement: Paul Nehlen for Congress, WI-1

If the defeat of one member of Congress could change the entire dynamic in Washington, and restore America to constitutional government, that member of Congress would be Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

As we explained in our article, “Paul Ryan: Now the Ugly Face of the GOP Establishment,” how Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan went from budget-balancing conservative wunderkind, to GOP vice presidential nominee, to channeling Nancy Pelosi when he snarled, “It’s declassified and made public once it’s agreed to,” as he tried to sell Obama’s Trade Promotion Authority and Trans-Pacific Partnership treaties to skeptical Paul Nehlenconservatives during Rules Committee testimony is one of Washington’s saddest tales of how DC’s inside elite capture talent and bend it to their will.

None of the promise of Ryan’s early rise has panned out now that he is Speaker.

While Republicans were in the minority and Nancy Pelosi was Speaker, Ryan ascended to the position of Ranking Member of the Budget Committee and began proposing a plan to balance the budget and spur economic growth through what he called a “Road Map to America’s Future” and later the “Path to Prosperity.”

Ryan also advocated “truth in budgeting” and criticized the Democrats for their blue smoke and mirrors accounting tricks intended to hide the real numbers and the extent of the annual deficit from the American people.

Ryan’s creative thinking on the budget was refreshing, but many conservatives were skeptical and critical of a plan that took 30 years to balance the budget, pointing out that it would span some 15 congressional election cycles.

US debt in 2008: $10 Trillion
US debt today: $19-20 trillion ... figures being masked to protect Obama who was given open spending authority, with the complicity of the GOP power establishment

Who and what has benefitted from Paul Ryan’s “leadership”

I hope Ryan goes down in flames, but you know that Pribus, Walker, and talk radio are all on his side. But, there is always hope.

My guess is, if Ryan is the loser in the primary, we are going to see a flurry of ‘compromise’ measures from him reaching out to the Mocha Messiah and the ‘Rats

Trump has thanked Paul Nehlen for his support. That should help.

Newt was just defending him and McCain on Hannity, in fact he was pretty much defending the whole lot of them.

He advised Trump to only attack Hillary, saying Ryan was very smart and the most popular guy in DC, stupid to mess with him. Leave McCain alone he has honorably served for thirty years. He failed however to define whose interest he served all that time.

Newt is brilliant, but not dependable or consistent.

That has always been his greatest weakness.

Did Newt mention that Slow Joe Biden beat Mr. Brilliant in a debate?

Ryan—smart and popular in DC?

C’mon—the Dems staged a sit in a month ago with Mr. Popular to which he first capitulated and then changed his mind when the blowback from his party came.

We dodged a bullet with NEwt not being Trump’s pick for VP.
