Calling his views antithetical to our values not only as Republicans, but as Americans, the Harvard Republican Club declined to endorse Donald Trump for president, the first time the group declined to endorse the party nominee in its 128 years.
The group is the oldest College Republicans chapter in the nation, first founded in 1888.
The students posted a statement on Facebook Thursday laying out their reasons for declining to endorse the New York billionaire.
The rhetoric he espouses from racist slander to misogynistic taunts is not consistent with our conservative principles, and his repeated mocking of the disabled and belittling of the sacrifices made by prisoners of war, Gold Star families, and Purple Heart recipients is not only bad politics, but absurdly cruel, the students wrote.
Trump simply does not possess the temperament and character necessary to lead the United States through an increasingly perilous world, the open letter continues. The last week should have made obvious to all what has been obvious to most for more than a year. In response to any slight perceived or real Donald Trump lashes out viciously and irresponsibly. In Trumps eyes, disagreement with his actions or his policies warrants incessant name calling and derision: stupid, lying, fat, ugly, weak, failing, idiot and thats just his fellow Republicans. He isnt eschewing political correctness. He is eschewing basic human decency.
Donald Trump is a threat to the survival of the Republic. His authoritarian tendencies and flirtations with fascism are unparalleled in the history of our democracy. He hopes to divide us by race, by class, and by religion, instilling enough fear and anxiety to propel himself to the White House. He is looking to to pit neighbor against neighbor, friend against friend, American against American. We will not stand for this vitriolic rhetoric that is poisoning our country and our children.
[Former President Ronald Reagan] would be ashamed of Donald Trump, the letter said. We are too.
While one can perhaps imagine the kind of dismissive comment about Harvard Republicans this may - or may not elicit from the big man himself, the letter was published during an unprecedented period of crisis for the campaign, which saw not only drops in polling numbers but one of its most disastrous press cycles in months.
Harvard Pussies.
Are there any real men attending Harvard?
Probably not for a hundred plus years.
Are they embarrassed by the torture chamber set up on the second floor of the Bataclan?
Yes, that surprised me, too. The fact that they have ANY Republicans on that campus is a shock. But I suspect they are RINOs,, just to the right of moderate Dems.
Harvard Republican Club? Home of the RINOs. Well, them and Yale, and who knows where else.
If you want a good business degree, go to Wharton
Like the Trumps
“They can allow/support/vote for a Hillary criminal, who abuses women and leaves our heroes to die. That doesnt embarrass them.”
She and Bubba are Yale Law school grads, not Harvard but Ivy League.
Harvard is winning more votes for Trump!
They are so abysmally ignorant, so much for “elite” education.... their statement is full of howlers and idiocies.
For “Harvard Republicans” think of pussy whipped cuckservatives like the National Review whiners.
I was getting worried as to how the Harvard Republican Club would come down on this.
EFF the pantywaists at Harvard Republican Club. If DJT needs another endorsement I’ll endorse him. Anybody else!?
More from the generation of pussies.
Did you refuse to endorse John McCain who didn’t give the POW/MIA of Vietnam the time of day?

Have they ever said that about any Democrat Presidents whose views are barely distinguishable from those of Karl Marx? I highly doubt it.
The “crab syndrome” at work.
When there is only one crab in a bucket, it will lever and push itself up over the side and escape easily, unless there is a lid put on the bucket, and even then, the lid must be secured, else the crab would simply push it aside.
Put two or more crabs in a bucket, whenever one manages to pull itself up to the top edge of the bucket, the others drag it back, unless the potential escapee is unusually determined and of sufficient strength to break free of the snatching pulls back down into the bucket. Even then, the remaining crabs, with the example right before them, will not attempt further escapes.
This is what we have in the Republican party right now, a bunch of cowering crabs who will not follow the example of one who broke free and now enjoys a much greater range of action, but hangs back in the comfort of fellowship with other timid types.
They are all going to end up being boiled in the same pot.
There is only one viable #NeverHillery out there now, and failure to support that option is to surrender to the fate of being figuratively boiled alive.
Crabs have an excuse, they are not noted for a great capacity for critical thinking. Apparently with human beings, avoiding any kind of critical thinking is an option, and not the best one.
Special Snowflake Snots.
Can you be a student member of the Harvard Republicans Club if you’re not, by definition and probably bloodline, a future professional RINO?
LOL, The baby snakes have proclaimed unanimity with the adult snakes.
Yawn
