-Cohen: there is no truth to an "intervention". There is no infighting, no concern about Trump. Absolute lie.
- you have to stay on offense and attack Hillary. The last couple of days Trump is focused. As long he stays on offense he wins.
- the 2 people he should mention are Obama and Hillary. Foreign policy and the economy and immigration. Jobs, economy and national security will make him the 45th president.
- where did the $400 million come from for the hostages? Where there is cash there is corruption.
- in the Fox news poll some great news. Among independents he is 20% up for jobs and the economy and the deficit. How people are doing financially 63% of Americans not happy. These are good numbers for Trump and very positive for him. Trump is dominating with the independents.
- 88% of conservatives are with Trump
- there is no upside to Trump getting into skirmishes. His surrogates can deal with the skirmishes.
- Cohen: Trump will no longer get distracted
Good strategy. Besides it is only August. There are vacations, Olympics, sports, looking for houses to suit schools, etc. so few of the LIV’s are paying attention. Looks to me like Trump is not spending lot of money prematurely. That is good as well.
I am amazed at how 90% of Freepers have decided that the sky is falling and all is lost. What a pathetic bunch of losers.
They are all armchair experts long on reasons why we have lost but have no clue how to win anything. If they were on the Trump team they would all be fired and would not last 5 minutes.
It is not lost. Trump has been hurt some but this race is very competitive and volatile. One big or a few incidents turns the momentum the other way.
Michael Cohen is a treasure.
He's fighting a war on three fronts. He's fighting Hillary, he's fighting the media, and he's fighting the Establishment.
Last week, the DNC drew him out into the open with attacks by Khizr Khan. Trump fired back as he always does but in doing so exposed his flank, and the media attack his exposed flank while the GOP Establishment piled on.
In the General Election, he's got to remember not to expose his flank, and that means letting surrogates take care of minor attacks like Khan.
This is Trump's first election--and it's the big one. He will/must change and adapt as he's done from the beginning.
I am confident he will win in November, but there are going to be some tense moments.
The country hangs in the balance...and we hang with it.
