Think of all the places you have to notify of your new number. I recently had to do this and there were over fifty contacts to get changed. Everything from stock brokerage to pizza delivery to video club to health care services, doctors office. The “changing” part was easy, the “notifying” was a real pain!!!!!
Maybe they need better security on their phones as well as not depending on smart phones to perform their duties.
