That caused an epidemic of Hepatitis C and AIDS in Canada as well as in the prisons due to sharing blood draw needles. A prison doctor and the RCMP gathered info but the doctor’s house and the RCMP document warehouse burned down on the same night. Nobody was ever prosecuted.
