Being in neutral might be a good thing. Everyone needs to unwind when they can.

It was nice and cool today, for which I was very thankful..but still no rain. sigh
Well boohiss on missing out on the Blizzard. But you have all those popsicles to take care of! Second box?? Holy cow!!!! Dang, you almost need a separate freezer to keep those in. LOL!
WE’RE glad the kittehs are behaving too. Not fun in here when they get wound up. It can get downright dangerous to walk through the house when they get on a tear. ZOOM!
They’re calling for small chances for rain late in the week. We got 5 inches over the past 4 days so we’re doing pretty good for now. On the way out to see Hubby’s aunt this afternoon, I stopped and checked several soybean pods in the field and the beans have plumped up nicely the past few days.

Fortunately he received his Medal of Honor from President Nixon. (I couldn’t find a picture.)
That presentation was for the “Outstanding American by Choice” award.
I feel for those military folks, and their families, being “presented” anything from the putz-in-chief.

Don’t know about it being a good time. It’ll be slow, as usual. One, maybe two people will come in looking for a yard sign if we’re lucky. But we have a tv to watch, and the group’s president works with me tomorrow and we have good conversations. Makes the time go by fairly quickly.
Too bad y’all didn’t get some more rain, but you ARE in the desert. LOL! At least it wasn’t sweltering and that counts for a lot. Sure will be nice when fall gets here, won’t it?
