Hoping those affected by the floods soon find respite.

Another weekend flew by.
And this week will probably go by fast too.
Today, I have to clean up and
stack old carpet for pickup.
Son-boy came by on Friday and
helped me tear out old living room carpet.
The tearing out was the easy part;
the pulling nails and staples and cleaning
the floor was the harder, longer part.
My body was mad at me by dinner time.
Oak floors are worn and a few stains but will be beautiful
when they get re-finished (whenever that is).
Until then, I've ordered a large area rug
to plop down in the middle of the floor.
Really need it as Eada doesn't understand
that the carpet is gone and she has no
traction on the wood.

We've been having a bit of rain.
This week, plenty of sunshine.

But please stay right where you are.
Chat up the military or a family member.
No need to fret...you know I'll be back!

The FR Canteen is

I’m counting down the days to retirement with you. Just think, maybe once retired you can start to do all the things you want to do, like visit grandkids; have grandkids for two weeks during the summer; travel?

My morning is already speeding along and I haven’t even dressed yet. Gotta get a move on.
