The post-Labor Day presidential campaign begins with Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump locked in close races among likely voters in the critical swing states of Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to a Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll released today.
The huge gender and racial gaps that have marked this presidential campaign are still in play, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University Poll finds. The exception is North Carolina, where there is a wide racial gap, but almost no gender gap. In Pennsylvania, Clinton loses support among women and Democrats.
The presidential matchups show:
Florida - Clinton and Trump tied 47 - 47 percent;
North Carolina - Clinton at 47 percent, with Trump at 43 percent;
Ohio - Trump at 46 percent to Clinton's 45 percent;
Pennsylvania - Clinton tops Trump 48 - 43 percent. With third party candidates in the race, results are: Florida - Clinton and Trump tied 43 - 43 percent, Libertarian Gary Johnson at 8 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 2 percent;
North Carolina - Clinton edges Trump 42 - 38 percent, with 15 percent for Johnson. Stein is not on the ballot here;
Ohio - Trump edges Clinton 41 - 37 percent, with Johnson at 14 percent and Stein at 4 percent; Pennsylvania - Clinton tops Trump 44 - 39 percent with 9 percent for Johnson and 3 percent for Stein.

Yeah and morning consult has Trump up 3 in NM. Polling is INSANE this year.
I'm in SW Pa and I don't see ANY hillary signs, but too, we're not plastered with Trump, neither.
All my conversations are or lean Trump ... so take that for what it's worth.
There's still time, but personally, I think most people have made up their minds by now.

Trump is gonna win in November.
As long as Trump continues to court the black vote by going into the inner cities he will continue to do very well. That is the key to winning states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Maryland and North Carolina.
Keep talking to black voters that all the years of voting Democrat have brought them nothing but misery. He does that and he can win 20% of the black vote.
He does that and he wins in a landslide.
If Trump is tied in Quinnipiac in FL, OH and PA - in reality he’s well ahead in those states!
CW has been turned on its head.
Only last month AOL trumpeted the Q poll showed Hillary demolishing Trump by double-digits. People were talking about a D + landslide.

Yup....Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, New Mexico, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania .. all within the margin of error.
I’m starting to think that Trump supporters are mucking up the polling this year; maybe they are getting picked up in the polling in some states and not others.
Could it be that Johnson may tip NM to Trump without really trying to do so?
3rd parties are in the race in many states. To poll as if they aren’t doesn’t give accurate
results, imo. True it’s still early but all that are on the ballot should be in the poll. JMO

PA is always tough; I felt good about the 1980 election there just the weekend before the balloting. So many just don’t know of Mrs. Bill’s radical positions.
And we were all abuzz KNOWING ol wee wee’d up would not get a second term.
A video of Hillary existing her van this morning. Her handler exits the van, walks around the van to her side.. Make the video/audio loud, and listen carefully, at 35-48 seconds a female is instructing Hillary to, “Behind him, behind him, just for now, just for the Shot”. What Shot. Saw another poll showing Trump UP in North Carolina..just VOTE, these stupid polls are all over the place
There was another North Carolina poll a few weeks ago that had 32% of blacks in North Carolina supporting Trump.
I wonder what happened to that.
He’s moving in the right direction but he has some ground to make up. Still, it’s heartening.

I just ran some states...http://www.270towin.com/ .. Trump has been running strong in Nevada and Iowa all year and if he can steal New Mexico as well, he can win without PA and VA. He would need to take care of business from Florida to North Carolina and win Ohio.
Crazy year, but Trump has definitely opened the map up.
