This past Friday night, Barbra Streisand hosted a fundraiser in New York for Hillary Clinton. It was largely an LGBT crowd. Ticket prices ranged from $1200 to $250,000. Streisand performed a clever version of Send in the Clowns to mock Trump.
Of course she did. And of course she promises to move to Australia if he is elected. She may have promised to move if Bush was re-elected too, but she's still here, raking in the big bucks, living large in Malibu with refrigerated closets for her furs. She is the epitome of the elites’ environmental movement; sacrifices for thee but not for me.
It was at this Manhattan event that Hillary, looking tired and spent, repeated her "basket of deplorables" line. (She had said it the day before on Israeli television.)
“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people — now 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks — they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.”
The wealthy and privileged one per-center audience, Hillary's murder of crows, (so named for the folktale that says crows gather to decide the capital fate of another crow), wildly applauded. They loved the line and obviously agreed with it. They thought it was hysterical. What fun it is to make fun of the stupid people.

The “stupid” people are smart enough to vote for someone besides the withered crone in the epileptic blue shades. Fortunately for the hateful One Percenters laughing, the “deplorables” haven’t yet cured the problem of the elite class as the French did in their revolution…yet.
Does anyone remember the article from Babs spokesperson who, years ago, said that people need to stop using clothes dryers and line dry their clothes instead because of the environment? When the spokesperson was asked if Babs also adhered to that, the spoxperson said something to the effect of , ‘Of course not’.
When asked what, if any, of the energy-saving advice on the Streisand Web site was being followed by the conservation-crusading star, her spokesman told a reporter last week, “She never meant that it necessarily applied to her.”

Streisand is 74. One of the attributes of the elite is they can look 20 until they drop dead. All it takes is money and a staff of minions with makeup. The rest of us get to grow old.
A friend once said, “wouldn’t it be great if we could all live forever?” I said, “That means the every dictator would be dictator forever. The Kennedy’s would inflict themselves on us forever. Perhaps it is good that we die. I think that at some point for most people in politics, the best thing they do for their constituents is die.” Look up the ages of our Congressmen. A plethora of them are in their 80’s and have been in office over 40 years. I wish that men like McCain (who I voted for) would leave office, and if not, please drop dead.

So I was watching “The Way We Were” with Streisand and Redford. As a kid, I never noticed that her character was a communist activist who was fighting against McCarthy. Even back in the seventies we had to suffer through Hollywood politicking in a love story.
Her character in the movie seems to be perfect for her based on her politic leanings and actions in real life. Elitist behavior of “do as I say, not as I do” would fit right in with a communist/progressive do gooder.
The bigger issue is that these elitist jerks laughed at hillary's comments.
