NBC's Lester Holt, the moderator of the first presidential debate, which is next week, on Monday announced the topics to be discussed during the much-anticipated event.
The three topics to be discussed during the debate, held at Hofstra University in New York, will be "America's Direction," "Achieving Prosperity," and "Securing America," per a release from the Commission on Presidential Debates.

Trump talks about these issues all the time. Hillary not so much.

I thought for sure one topic would be Compare and Contrast: Adolf Hitler vs. Donald Trump

Make the candidates STAND UP for the entire debate.
Hillary will never make it.
Hillary has already been given the questions.
She is being coached and practicing her response as we post.
That’s easy enough.
Hillary wants to resurrect the Cold War with Russia, but she wants America to be the “communists” this time.
If only these were actual debates, and not just coordinated attacks on the Republican candidate.
I was hoping for additional topics like “medical records and personal health” or “private emails” and such.
The debates are going to be really interesting. Hillary is easily rattled when standing only feet away from her opponent. (Bernie doesn’t count because he was the designated loser)

With Hillary, it’ll depend on who’s speaking to her via the earpiece.
Shrillary will have notes to read from hubby bonker Billy the Goat.
What happens if she springs a, er, leak in her urine bag?
She could always yell: “Well, piss on you!!”
It’s probably in the bag that Hillary will bring her own stool to the debate.
Considering how the liberals were pissed off at Matt Lauer for not taking down Trump at the commander in chief event, have they gotten to Lester Holt to tell him to be hard on Trump???
Those aren’t topics. They’re cliches.
I’m guessing Trump will throw things off by taking interesting angles on questions that Hillary is prepared for, and then throwing it back to Hillary. She’ll have to think on her feet to respond and probably won’t do it well.
Poor Lester will say “That’s not the question! Answer MY question! I’m important!” But Trump can ignore him and directly challenge Hillary.
If she is aware of the questions, and heavily prepped for the questions, that preparation may work against her if Trump shifts the discussion in unexpected directions.
Rubio ended up parroting his own talking point relentlessly because he couldn’t actually think on his feet. And he’s much better than Hillary.
Wasn’t she going to turn the economy over to WJC to run?
